Finding a taste of the Islands just got easier here, in #Newberg!
The most unique features of this establishment include several modern and convenient ways to get your food. There is an express online drive through for expedited pickup. They also have a traditional drive through if you are so inclined.
If you prefer to dine in, this is one of the few places in town that has electric vehicle charging stations onsite!
All this makes for an extremely convenient way to get your food and hopefully more places will follow their lead in the future.
The food here is absolutely delicious! The best Island food I have had to date on the mainland!
I do have a small suggestion though. If you add a bit of pineapple to your Mac and cheese (a few small chunks and a tiny bit of juice to the mayo mix) people will swarm your shop like zombies on ♂️
I ate here and returned and ate here again the next day! Yep! The food is that good!
Three meal sizes, great prices, open late, definitely worth your time!

I grew up in Hawaii, I really wanted to love this place with all the buzz in town. The vibe here is great, the staff is kind, attentive and very helpful.
The food was really disappointing. I ordered the huli huli chicken since it was listed on the menu as their “specialty”. The chicken had decent flavor but was unfortunately dry, probably related to the fact that it was cut into bite size pieces. The mac salad was a bummer because it was HEAVY on the mayo, zero color or vegetables. Meal portion size was abysmal. Hawaiian food is generally known for generous portions for Polynesian size appetites…that is not the case for these Hawaiian Bros.
The roasted vegetables had great flavor but were not warm. The dole whip was the star of the show with perfect texture. I might try this place again just for the dole whip but it’s not likely.

Everything was amazing!!! I had the luah pig and the honolulu chicken. Both were amazing! Liz was very helpful. She made us feel the aloha vibes! Salamon (not sure of spelling on name) was great! He came and checked on us and made sure everything was tasting great and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great atmosphere! Nanette the manager made this a great experience for the family. Kind, vibrant and very complimentary. We usually avoid Newberg on the way down to McMinnville to our son’s college. Moving forward we will skip the bypass and surely be visiting Hawaiian Bros again!

I finally got a chance to try Hawaiian Bros which recently opened up. I have to say that I was excited as I’ve been missing some good Hawaiian bbq and the most recent one near me did not stand up as I had hoped. My first experience even walking up to the store was great! The staff greeted and helped me find my way in. Upon entering I was greeted again and given a menu to look over. I was waiting to use the self order station until another staff member went up to me asking if I was ready to order and took me up front to do my order himself which was unexpected and very welcomed. He explained all the dishes clearly and gave me some recommendations. I went with one his recommendations (the honalulu chicken). My order was the large combo plate which let me me pick two meat options. As I was eating, the staff would come by to clean around and make sure I was doing okay which I do appreciate. I got honalulu chicken and kilauea chicken (their extra spicy meat). It came with rice under the meat, another side of rice and big side of their macaroni salad. I ordered a side of their spam matsubi as well.
I really enjoyed this meal. Right away I can say the meal made me full. Which I would hope from getting the large (versus the classic) combo meal. The honalulu chicken was by far my favorite meat of the two. Lots of flavor and not to over powering in any direction. I enjoyed the Kilauea chicken as well. What was nice about this meat was how it was spicy but only after continuously eating it. It didn’t burn my mouth right away but the heat slowly built up and it did have a nice kick. This is the type of spicy/heat I love. The rice was fine. I can’t say it stood out much. The macaroni salad was also really good. My friend mentioned it tasted salty to them. I personally found it fine and was craving more. Their spam matsubi actually tasted good! The teriyaki flavor was a nice touch and the rice was not dry. However, the price was a bit higher than I would have preferred, specifically with the spam matsubi. Other than this, I found the price to be fair. I’m definitely coming back here. I want to try their wraps and other meats as well. I’m glad Hawaiian bros came to Newberg and I really do hope they stick around!

I had the Pacific Island Wrap. It was full of flavor and I really like the crunchy noodles in it. I also spun the wheel and won a free meal coupon. The folks working were very helpful, smiling and looked like they were having fun helping everyone.

The Dole soft serve was very yummy. Could eat it every day. I got the huli huli chicken and luau pork. Both were good but that teriyaki chicken was my favorite. Mac salad was okay. Super creamy, but doesn’t have any veggies in it. Staff was super friendly and helpful with ordering and questions. Shout out to Logan for all his help. Excited to come back and try more things

We have been waiting for months and they just opened. Food is amazing, warm and comfortable inside with energy from the grand opening but still a friendly island vibe. I got a mixed plate with Molokai chicken and Honolulu chicken. Love the Mac salad. Rice is perfect. This place is going to be a favorite for years to come. I was too full for the spam musubi but it will make a great snack tonight.

They have just opened in Newberg, and they appear to be doing everything right. It’s our first time in and we were greeted just as we walked in and assisted through the ordering. Our helper quickly described the options and put our order through the Kiosk. Wendy had the Maui Pig and I had the Honolulu Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. I hope they are here for a long time, we’ll definitely be back!
