The food is usually quite good, and I love their bacon cheeseburger deluxe meal. However, when I got home and sat down to eat I found the lettuce leaves were brown and slimy. I threw the lettuce, tomato, and onion out (the lettuce was between the two). This is the third time it’s happened, and the LAST.

This place features mostly local fare. Hot table and ordered items as well. Good local in and out plate meals spot. HOWEVER! They are in the process of a remodel, during which they will become a (rumor is) Japanese establishment that will offer a sushi bar. These pics are whats done so far, and it looks much improved. My one true hope is that they get lisenced to sell beer and saké.

I walk up to the counter. The woman on other side said, “Can I help You”. Her cell rings and she answers it. I said to her can you put that phone down and wait on me. She put the phone down. Dished up my request. When we got to the register, she picks up the phone again and continues her conversation. I said, put the damn thing down while you are waiting on a customer. She didn’t put it down, handed me my change. I said, please count it out, which she did never putting the phone down. Not sure I will ever go back there again. The management needs to find employees who understand the customer always comes first!

If this isn’t a full plate I don’t know what is! About 2lbs! Food is consistently great with tender meat, not very rubbery & very tasty, broccoli was not overcooked, I asked for more broccoli with less meat & got it. Enough for three meals for me.

if your really hungry and have only 10 bucks and the bar next door is closed this is the place to be…the cashier is pretty cute ..the food in the buffet looks ummm……yea…remember…you only have 10 bucks…the end. Update!!!!! It’s dead…they left and has been replaced by numba 2 sushi restaurant! Woohoo!!!

For Chinese, this place is not bad to have inexpensive Chinese food. By “inexpensive” I mean by Hawaii standard. The absolute price is of course higher than in US mainland.
