Everything tasted fresh. Nice outdoor seating area. The calzone crust was fluffy and crisp. Just be warned if you order the large calzone it’s enormous like enough for four people.

If you’re skiing at Mohawk Mountain and want a good place to eat after, DiFranco’s is the move. The food is filling, the portions are really big, and the prices are honestly not bad at all. After a long day on the slopes, it’s exactly what you want. You can get a solid meal, feel full, and not feel like you overpaid. Overall, DiFranco’s is one of the best spots to eat near Mohawk after skiing. Big portions, fair prices, and a good stop to recharge.

Food here was excellent. Garlic bread with cheese, Caesar salad and a buffalo chicken wrap which was huge. All for under 40 bucks? That’s a win and a big one.

First visit… wonderful server, very welcoming. We had coconut shrimp, French onion soup, a personal pizza from the special menu, and an omelet. The food was decent for the good prices. The total was 41.oo (and that included a soda and iced coffee). The restaurant appeared clean and had a nice neutral ambiance. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 is that there were a lot of flies. Not a couple, which I understand… but enough that it was a distraction so they would not land on our food.

Fettuccine Alfredo was cooked perfectly and the white cream sauce was top shelf…
Broccoli Rabe, sausage and beans were equally delicious.
Please note that the photos indicate about half of the portions served. Everything was so delicious I just couldn’t stop eating to take photos!
De Franco’s has great outdoor seating right off West St in Downtown Litchfield, a super friendly staff, a great lunch menu and reasonable prices. Biker friendly.

DiFrancos is a solid Italian restaurant located directly on the Litchfield green. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is good. I got the chicken saltimbocca and it was solid. The desserts were also good. The prices are fair for the quality of food provided. The waitstaff were friendly as well.

Casual little family restaurant with friendly service on the green in Litchfield. I always get pizza or calzone because they have a great crust and a tasty sauce. My husband ordered sptnikopta, and it was just OK. I like to stick to the comforting Italian dishes—they never disappoint. It’s fun to sit on the patio and people watch too!

Absolutely Superb! When you are in Ltchfield or anywhere near Litchfield, CT. You must make it your buisness to visit DiFrancos Restaurant. My family and I spent a week in Torrington and stumbled across this restaurant and what – a – find!!!
The ambiance screamed extravagance. The staff is a team of family members that make you feel as if they were your family and you were returning from a long time trip. The food is incredible and very much affordable. I dont know how they do it but their sauce is unmatchable. Hats off and salutes to DiFrancos Restaurant I will see you again soon my friends.

Fantastic Lunch. The sign says “fine Italian cuisine,“ and they serve Greek dishes as well. Owned by nice people from Albania. God bless America!
