Haven Haus Cafe is a brunch restaurant located in the beautiful Old Town Temecula. We came to this place on Thanksgiving day. The inside of this place was beautifully decorated and reminded us of the holiday festivities. It was also nearly empty, as it was a public holiday.

We ordered Orange Juice, Mocha Latte, Eggs Benedict, and Angus Burger with Fries. Their service was fast, and we got food almost right away. The food was delicious, and the portions were satisfying. Their Eggs Benedict and Angus Burger with Fries are highly recommended. The vibe reflects Old Town Temecula’s reputation as a great spot for brunch and day drinking, with an extensive drink and coffee menu. The staff were friendly, attentive, and hardworking. The prices were reasonable. We really enjoyed the food, the friendly service, and the festive vibe. It was a great way to start our San Diego Trip.

We had a party of 12 and they made accomodations for us so we could sit all together. The seating was nice and comfortable, the waitress was super sweet and patient with us. The food was amazing and delivered quickly. We had a great time and will be back!

In town for the weekend and we came here twice it was so good. We sat inside and outside, and both were pleasant as the weather was amazing. The food is delicious and the portions ample, and the vibe reflects temeculas rep as a great place for brunch and day drinking with their extensive drink and coffee menu. The staff is friendly, hard working, and attentive. Located at the far south of Old Town, it’s easy to avoid the traffic and parking is usually available. But make sure to come early as it definitely gets packed after 11a. Look forward to our next visit

This is such a lovely venue. I love the vibe in here. It feels like a Palm Springs fun brunch. Great place to stop by before hitting the wineries. For brunch/lunch it can get busy on the weekends so I try to get there before 10am if I don’t want to wait in a long line. I love their espresso martinis and their Hard Matcha. They have great fajitas and chicken friend steak. Most of their food is really good. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. During times that they’re really busy it may be hard to get help, but they’re doing their best when the kitchen gets backed up or they’re dealing with the rush. Like most restaurants. This has become our go-to brunch spot. It’s also one of the two places in old town that has espresso martinis with real espresso (instead of espresso liqueur). When friends are in town, this is the place I’d take them for brunch. The only thing is their bathroom is in a hallway shared with other venues.

Love the environment! Great service, really kind people. I think there’s room for improvement on food, like the chicken and waffles. The chicken was super dry. Also, they asked if I wanted the coleslaw (the menu stated it came with the meal) – I LOVE coleslaw so I said yes but I didn’t realize it comes on top of the waffle? In between the waffle and the chicken. I just thought it was a weird choice because I like to put syrup on my chicken and waffle, but not if there’s coleslaw in between lol so if you’re like me, definitely ask for it on the side. Last note – their holiday lattes were not priced on the menu but it came out to 9 dollars I think that’s a bit too much even if it was a delicious and fun latte, but just my thoughts! Overall would definitely go back again, had a lot of fun and love the ambiance!

Updated Review 7/6/2035:

So after our last experience my wife and I were invited to come back by the owner in an effort to make things right. I have to say that they hit it out of the park this time! From the minute we walked in until the minute we left Javier and his staff made us feel so welcomed. Everything was great in this visit, the team, the food the ambiance. A special shout out to our waitress, Madison, who did a spectacular job. It was so great to talk to one of the owners and see how they genuinely care about their customers. I can’t recommend this place enough. One last note: Try the chilaquiles – they’re great! Oooh, and the corn ribs. Yum!

Thank you Javier and team for making this visit special.

Disappointed.

Well, we have eaten here 1.5 times. The first time the food was great and the service was good. However, today we came for an early lunch and were seated promptly in the middle of the restaurant at a two-seat table. So far, so good. We sat and sat for about 30 minutes while waiters walked by minute after minute without even looking our direction. Never were we given water or anything – no contact at all. Not even when another couple was seated right next to us, given water, and their order was taken. We were flabbergasted. The nice couple next to us even asked if they had served us yet. Not sure how they noticed, but not a single waiter in the place didn’t, even though they literally were facing us as they took the other couple’s order.

Long story short, we ended up walking out after 30 minutes. The hostess apologized when we told her what happened.

So disappointing.

Met up with my former coworkers for breakfast. Was a good time seeing them. The food was delicious and service was very good. Shelly and I split the Biggie Bagel (Everything Bagel, sausage smash patty, scrambled cheesy egg, Applewood smoked bacon served with country potatoes). Very good first time impression and we look forward to returning soon.

The environment and aesthetic was nice. The food was good. The only thing that we were not happy about was that they offer outside seating but no heaters. We went about a week ago and it was very cold. The food came out warm but got cold fast. When we got our food we asked for extra plates as we ordered a breakfast shareable platter which was very good but didn’t get the plates for about 5 minutes and had to ask again. Overall it’s a good place that can improve.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm smile and promptly seated. It was my birthday, and I was celebrating alone. The ambiance was incredibly beautiful and calming, creating a sense of relaxation and freedom to enjoy myself on my solo birthday brunch.

The food was simply delectable. The presentation was immaculate and perfectly executed. This was my first visit to Old Town Temecula, and I’m thrilled I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday brunch. It was an unforgettable experience, and I genuinely hope this restaurant continues to thrive and grow for many years to come, just like me!

Happy birthday to me! And Thank you! Haven Haus, for an incredible experience.

Great service and atmosphere. I went once so take it with a grain of salt. Food was good. Not great. Gravy on the biscuit was bland. Looked and tasted like canned gravy with a jello-y texture. Omelet was good, no complaints. Potatoes were good no complaints. All in all, good place. Maybe make the gravy naturally with sausage chunks.
