I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Indian buffet restaurant and feel obligated to warn others. I called this restaurant ahead to inform them that I’d be bringing a large group, expecting them to be prepared. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it was clear the staff was not ready. The buffet tables were consistently out of food, and while the food itself was decent, we had to continuously ask them to refill almost every item. It was disorganized and frustrating for everyone.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, when it came time to settle the bill, the staff miscounted the number of adults and children in our group. They insisted there were more people than we claimed and even went so far as to involve the manager, who suggested checking security cameras to see if someone from our group had “sneaked out” without paying. This was not only unprofessional but outright insulting. After much back-and-forth, they finally admitted their count was wrong.
To make matters worse, they tried to charge us for my 11-month-old nephew, who had only a few bites of bread from my sister’s plate. This level of pettiness was shocking. On top of that, they added an unexpected 18% service charge to the bill, which is highly unusual for a buffet. Buffets are typically taxed, but adding a hefty service charge—especially with such poor service—felt completely unjustified.
The entire experience was humiliating and stressful. I left embarrassed by the scene the staff created. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this place and choose one of the many other Indian buffet restaurants in town that offer better service, friendlier staff, and a more pleasant dining experience.
The staff was so friendly and took the time to explain some of the dishes that were new to us.
Highly recommend.
Want to come back and try the buffet one day.
However, The Chana saag wasn’t as fresh tasting as other places.. something was off. The basmati rice here is also super bland, which is disappointing bc I always look forward to the subtle flavor.. here the rice just tastes like water.
Only downside: the naan could be better. Still, I’d definitely come back and look forward to trying their lunch buffet next time.
