Their Lemon-mint juice (smoothie?) was wonderful.
The Pan Con Bisetc sandwich was very large and very good.
The avocado salad was also very good.
Sweet plantains appetizer was perfect.
Beans and Rice side was good. The beans were well seasoned.
The service was great. We would definitely re-visit this place to explore other things on the menu.

I ventured into this place because other restaurants were closed on Christmas. I had never been there. It looked kind of weird from the outside but my friend and I decided to try it. We were seated immediately, took anout 7 minutes for a waiter to co.e. the young man took our order. I got the milanesa steak with moros and fried green plantains, my friend ordered the vaca frita with moros and fried green plantains. Took about 15 minutes for the waiter to come back and he brought only my friend’@ meat dish, took about 10.more minutes for my meal and his rice to arrive. No green plantains those came separately about 15 mi uses after we started eating. While the meats were good, the rice was awfull. IT was dry, sticky low in salt and not very tasty. The meat portions were generous, we both ended up taking leftover food home.
Price: for our meals, no drinks, appetizers or dessert, including tip (15%) I ended up paying $70 and some change. I found that for very basic Cuban food it was overpriced. The appetizers were almost as expensive as a regular dish, that was pretty crazy. I can get better food for less money at other Cuban restaurants in the area. Will I go back? Most likely not, the food was not enough of a motivation to make me go back there.
Recommendation: change your recipe for moros/congrí it was really awful. Try to bring all the food at the same time not in parts. Do something about the pricing of your appetizers.

Awesome little spot in Homestead. Seemed like authentic Cuban food, I’ve never been to Cuba so I don’t know! But very delicious. Service was excellent. We actually sat outside and glad we did — inside was freezing cold and the outside tables were very nice, under the awning with funky lights, very nice ambiance. Variety of protein options: beef, pork, seafood. Sweet plantains hit the spot, I had been craving some all weekend!

Had a great meal here on a Friday afternoon on their patio. Huge portions and everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. Beats a chain restaurant any day!!

We had the pollo al ajillo and fajitas de pollo, and both were fantastic. Beautifully seasoned, tender, no fat or gristle. Delicious. The rice and beans and ripe plantain were fantastic, too. We shared a half pitcher of the red sangria, also, and it was very flavorful and was plenty for two people. Highly eclectic decorations, fun and colorful.

Cuban food is not something I am familiar with enough to compare but I enjoy good food and this food was good. Very flavorful, not spicy, and with nice presentation. Ample portions will force you to come back a different day for a slice of key lime pie which is large, beautiful and good. Staff was welcoming and the service was good. This was our favorite restaurant of all we tried this week in southern Florida.

Worse than jailhouse chow priced as a Michelin Star Restaurant.
The ground beef (picadillo) was watery, with no olives and tasted awfully. I couldn’t swallow the Vaca Frita; it was soggy and flavorless. The “crema” de malanga had the consistency of soup and tasted like raw flour. And the yuca was just a soggy puree.
The only item that was tasty and appealing and didn’t end up in the trash can was the pineapple and mint juice. However, the price was prohibitive.

The portions are large. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was good. I’ve come a few times now. It’s always delicious. Sadly, the prices are now much higher, making it out of my budget. But, if you’re in this area, definitely go, at least once.

This is a small but cozy restaurant. The food is delicious and the services is outstanding. I asked for the palomilla bistec with fried plantains, rice and beans and it was soft and delicious. Some may find it pricey but I think it is definitely worthy.

While traveling for work we stopped in to get some good Cuban food. We were entered to eccentric decor and plenty of parking. Everything is so colorful and festive.
There is one building for sweet treats and another for food. There is both outdoor and indoor seating.
We went for lunch. The menu is huge with plenty of options. It was giving Cheesecake Factory options…it was hard to choose. The prices are a little confusing as some meals were listed as $70. We figured this must have been done mistakingly.
We ordered some plantain chips and ham croquets. Complementary Cuban bread was served. The plantain chips were huge and they give you plenty. They were freshly fried but could have been a bit more seasoned.
The food was good and served hot. The server was nice and efficient. The price was a bit expensive for Cuban food. It looks like people come here more for the ambiance. It seems like it will be a vibe at night.
