The food was really good. Fried chicken was fresh and hot as well as the tenders. Hand breaded to perfection. This is definitely worth the stop. The service was excellent here as well.

The food was good and the people were very nice and it looked very clean. This restaurant is in a location near the Whitewater Canal Trail so if you’re riding a bike, you can get to by taking Columbia Street then turning left on Claiborne Street follow that all the way to Duck Creek up to US 52 and it is on the left and in a diagonal Direction on the other side of US 52. It’s a great place to stop off and grab a bite to eat they mainly have sandwiches in other finger foods like fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, they don’t have a bike rack out front, but there are places where you can lock your bike too if needed, and they have outdoor seating.

I had the Hand breaded Tenderloin sandwich. It was so delicious, juicy, tender, etc. It was a nice, rich sandwich. Not all the Tenderloin sandwiches taste this good.

This is the quintessential small town diner. You’ll not find gourmet meals here, but good, solid breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. All the menus are basic, but all the food is fresh, tasty, hot and filling, and the service has always been exceptional, and you can’t beat the price.

So so so many good memories here! I’m 37 and i have been going there my whole life. For the first 18 years or so every other Saturday I’d be there with the Bulmer crew spending time with my Grandma Alice and Grandpa Bill my dad Dave, and all my uncles Darrel and Chris and Sam, aunt Nina uncle Terry God rest his soul, uncle James and my brother Matt and it’s just a happy place for me. Coffee and breakfast! Anytime we are back in town we ALWAYS go to the Have a Bite! And I always will! Never close please! God bless

Server brought our food and never came back. Had to go upfront to find her to check out. BLT had only bacon, no lettuce or tomato, couldn’t tell her because she never came back to the table, fried pickles breading was raw flour still, not cooked. Had been recommended an had high hopes. Big let down, don’t recommend
