My partner and I ate here with friends and everyone enjoyed their food. Portions are large. I will be dreaming of their house salad and begging my partner to recreate it for me! If we lived in town I think this would be a pretty regular spot for us.

I stopped in here for dinner while visiting the area. I was seated promptly and service the rest of the meal was great. If you’re only swinging through and see a German restaurant, you have to get their sausage platter! And that’s exactly what I did. Food was very good, I liked the variety and portion sizes were great. I would recommend anyone passing through or living in the area to put Haus Heidelberg on your short list for dinner.
One note that parking outside is a little tight compared to the space inside, but I think that was being influenced a lot by recent ice.

Very impressed by the food at this quaint German restaurant. It’s a bit dated, dingy, and needs some upgrades (the bathroom doors are rough), but everything else was great! We got the saurbraten with red cabbage and potato dumplings and the weiner schnitzel with hot potato salad and house salad. The dressing on the salad was creamy and fresh, I loved it with the cucumbers and pickled(?) green beans! Perfect start to our meal! The schnitzel was hot out of the fryer with a crispy crust and had great flavor along with the curry ketchup and lemon. The potato salad reminded me of my Omi’s although this restaurant’s version had more mustard in it. The saurbraten was excellent, tender, and the gravy was so delicious! A bit on the sweet side, but still savory and thick! I loved dipping my fresh baked roll in it. The red cabbage had authentic flavor, but I wasn’t a huge fan of how thick the sauce was (almost gelatenous). The potato dumplings were also fantastic covered in tbe yummy saurbraten gravy! Our server, Reily, was also super sweet and patient with us while deciced on what to order. We will absolutely be back next time we are passing through!!

We ordered the Haus Heidelberg Sampler. With a variety of meats it was an excellent choice. The sides were wine Kraft, warm German potato salad, red cabbage and roasted potatoes and spatzle. Everything was excellent. Particularly the red cabbage and warm potato salad.
The atmosphere is great. It is a small dining room decorated smartly with plenty of German decor. The music was a mix of 40’s and 50’s music.
Well worth the visit!!!

We spent a weekend in Hendersonville and were excited to eat at Haus Heidelberg. Though reservations are recommended, they were able to find us a table. Our server, Morgan, was excellent. She was attentive without hovering. The food was amazing! I got the Haus Heidelberg sampler and my partner ordered the sausage sampler. Both came with sides included. Everything was incredible, but my very favorites were the remoulade and the red cabbage. We ordered dessert to go and enjoyed it later when we had room.
I highly recommend visiting Haus Heidelberg in Hendersonville for a delicious German meal!

Ate dinner here, the food was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend coming her if you enjoy authentic German food. We got the sausage sampler that was served with a mustard and curry ketchup, a beer flight with numerous German drafts, and we tried multiple entrees off the menu. Everything was fantastic, the servers were attentive, and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be coming back here next time we visit Hendersonville.

If i had never eaten food in Germany, I would rate it a 5. Everything was good, just not as good as my favorite restaurant in Germany. I’m sure it had a lot to do with the fact that food in Europe has less preservatives and just tastes better. The decor left me quite nostalgic though.

As always, everything was perfect. The food is SO good! I had the schnitzel royal with roasted potatoes, red cabbage and German potato salad. Everything cooked perfectly and our server, Morgan, was friendly and took great care of us. We aren’t in the area very often but when we are this is our goto place!
