Reviews
The spice hits just right: intense, flavorful, and addictive without overpowering the taste of the chicken itself. Every bite feels like the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The sides are just as amazing—comfort food done right—and the service is always friendly and quick despite the crowds.
Not to forget their signature Nashville comeback sauce
Hattie B’s delivers exactly what you expect from a legendary hot chicken spot: great food, great vibes. Highly recommended!
The spice levels are serious but done right. Whether you stick to mild or go all in, the balance is there. The sides deserve praise too. They are classic comfort food and pair perfectly with the chicken.
The atmosphere was chill, the staff kept things moving, and the experience felt worth the wait. This is the kind of place you think about the next day. If you love bold flavor and real Southern hot chicken, Hattie B’s is a must…

The staff was very nice and gave us insight on the different items on the menu. The staff is friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the food here. If we’re ever in Nashville again. We will definitely stop for some more of this chicken. I would recommend trying this place out..
I am hot chicken.
They know my name. They know my order. They know my dog. Honestly, if I dropped dead in the dining room, they’d probably know what song to play at my funeral (“Hot Chicken” by the Spice Girls, obviously). At first, I was embarrassed that the staff greeted me like a long lost uncle at Thanksgiving, but then I just leaned into it. Shame can’t survive once you’re wrist
deep in mac & cheese and hot chicken grease.
The other night I went scrolling through my photo album and realized, I basically have a multi year documentary of Hattie B’s. Family vacations? A few pics. College graduation? Two blurry ones. But Hattie B’s chicken? Hundreds. My iCloud is basically a shrine.
There’s a corner of my stomach with a permanent lease owned exclusively by Hattie B’s. They don’t just have the deed, they’ve built a condo, installed a Chick-fil-A just to bully it, and started charging me HOA fees in chicken tenders.
If you don’t see me for a while, check table 6. I’ll be there, reincarnated as a tender.
Okay now the not so good…..The Mac n cheese needed salt, and it was marketed as pimento Mac and cheese. But. It was more like “essence of pimento” because why didn’t I see hardly any pimento. There was like 3 tiny pieces? The greens were bitter.
The sweet tea was not “southern” sweet tea. The toilets were not so clean at the base near the floor. They really need someone to go in and deep clean. It does make me wonder how clean the kitchen is if the toilet looks like that. One reason why I hate going into bathrooms of restaurants. What I don’t know is better for me. Ignorance is bliss!
There is a tiny tiny parking lot. Difficult to get in and out of, at least for us, who are not local. We had to wait over 20 minutes to get our food.
$48 for 2 adults, we each got tenders, sides, and drinks
