Was my first time coming here and it was yum the chicken tenders with their spice is so delicious and they had some pretty decent macaroni and greens and they’re sweet tea and lemonade is oh so good. The only thing I didn’t like too much was their peach cobbler. It wasn’t what I thought it would be but other than that I would come back to eat some more and I like the atmosphere as well. Very relaxful the customer service was good and they had somebody going around making sure that you were okay which was a plus. That was really nice. I’d like that a lot. I do highly recommend coming and trying this place. It’s really good

Stopped by Hattie B’s Hot Chicken in Birmingham and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. You can tell it’s made to order hot, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.
The sides were on point too, especially the mac & cheese and fries. Service was fast and friendly, even with a steady crowd, and the atmosphere was laid-back but energetic.
If you’re in Birmingham and craving legit hot chicken, this spot is a must-stop. I’ll definitely be back.

If the cashier would have gotten the order correct, I would have gave 5 stars for service.
I had the Dirty Bird loaded fries, and of course spicy!. The spicy was definitely there, but I felt like they could have given more fies.
My guy had 3pc meal with greens and potato salad. Everyone taste bud is different. So let me say i was no fan of the potato salad, too much mayo for me ( he must have felt the same, he didn’t eat it).

If you like a unique twist on chicken, you found your restaurant. The wings and chicken fingers are excellent. If you are not a spicy advocate, stick to the mild versions – even they have a kick. The sides and desserts are just as delicious.

First time trying Hattie’s. The employee that took our order wasn’t very friendly but also not exactly rude.
I got their new salad. It was so fresh and delicious! The ranch is not the homemade “good” ranch (IYKYK), but still very enjoyable. I got the medium heat index. It was a bit hotter than I expected, but still within the range of heat I can consume.
The seating in the restaurant isn’t the most comfortable. You have the choice of metal chairs or wooden benches. There is also an outdoor covered patio.
I’d definitely go back to try other menu options.

I’ve been occasionally frequenting this establishment for the last 2 years and it’s officially my favorite hot chicken restaurant! I always get the Dirty bird fries, 3 whole wings and bacon cheddar grits. I eat really spicy foods and the (hot) level is perfect on the wings. The food has been consistent every single time and the staff has always been friendly and attentive!

The chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside every bite packed a burst of flavor that made it hard to put the fork down. The spice level was just right, giving that signature Hattie B’s kick without overpowering the taste. The french fries complemented the meal perfectly fresh, flavorful, and comforting. I absolutely adored this place. I went on a Saturday for lunch and while the line was long it did not take long to get to the counter and for the food to come out to the table. They know their chicken. They have a spice level for every type of person. It was my first time trying this place so we got the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Dirty Bird Fries. It was definitely a great lunch experience. (I also got a shirt! Their shirts are comfort colors by the way.)

Fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Mac n cheese was good. Pimento cheese was a different flavor but I liked it. Peach cobbler was average. I would definitely eat that chicken and mac again.

This was a cute spot to stop at, with very friendly staff and good food. First time at a Hattie B’s and I would visit again to try some new options if I’m near one again in the future. The chicken was crispy and delicious. The greens were a little bland for what I’m used to, but not bad. I added a side of the red skinned potato salad to my wings and it was average. We enjoyed the nice outdoor seating area. Overall a good experience here.
