I had a great breakfast here this morning. I had the waffle with ham and sausage. My partner had the steak and egg breakfast sandwich. We both had a side of home fries. Everything was prepared fresh and was extremely good. The portion size was more than generous as neither of us could finish our breakfasts. We can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu. It may help you to know they’re are some outdoor picnic tables provided on site. It was too cold this morning to sit outside, so we ate in our car.

This place has to be my favorite go to for burgers/breakfast. Recently my husband saw they offered waffles! We asked if they could put the Hatchman Special on waffles instead of a bun and of course they said they could. Easy to say my husband has a new favorite sandwich and enjoyed ever bite! All of their food is delicious, the prices are unbeatable and the 2 individuals running it are always polite, smiling and friendly.

Super cute tiny food truck serving up 5 breakfast sammiches.
The chef guy was super nice and patient with us as we asked our 1000 questions and made our decisions.
I had the Florentine and added some bacon. The Florentine stands on its own and the bacon was perfectly done. The roll had a nice slight crust on the outside and was fluffy soft on the inside. The sandwich didn’t fall apart! The eggs were perfect -not dry or overdone. It was a generous sandwich.
Hubby had the original. Breakfast is his favorite meal and he loved the sandwich.
I’m telling you this guy knows what he is doing!
We didn’t care for the coffee, but that could be because we aren’t from around there and not adjusted to the local water. We’re also extremely picky about our coffee.
The zepolis were a little tough, but glad to try them. Had a nice sourdough flavor that’s probably too good when more tender.
I recommended he add more neon to draw attention and add to the funky cute vibe, but really the food alone deserves all of the attention.
Y’all go make it a destination trip for breakfast and enjoy a hike afterwards. That’ll be a perfect weekend.

Hidden in Wells River, tucked between some buildings you’ll find a small retro RV trailer that’s been converted into a micro food truck. Don’t let the size or place fool you. The food here is exceptional. We had their burgers and French fries and they were incredibly good! They have sone special method of cooking the French fries which make them particularly crunchy and tasty. The burgers were really, really great too. Definitely worth going out of your way for breakfast or lunch!

Really yummy food at bargain prices. The picnic area behind it isn’t anything special and there’s a fair amount of road noise, but it’s well maintained and grassy and 3 of the tables have umbrellas. We enjoyed listening to the chickens in the yard next door!

I love the burgers, steak and cheese, breakfast steak and cheese and the breakfast Florentine. I almost always order online and pick up. It’s always hot and fresh! Food is consistently good and love the variety of options you can put on a burger!

My husband and I are visiting the area for our vacation and needed a bite to eat for breakfast. We came across Hatchbox and had to stop. We got breakfast burritos which were filled to the brim with eggs, meat, cheese and a hashbrown! This place is definitely on our list to revisit and try the other items offered. The service was fast and friendly as well which made the whole experience even better!

We found HATCHBOX passing through on the NEBDR and very thankful we did. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. Probably the best we had all trip and the prices couldn’t be beat. We ate at the picnic tables out back, relaxing setting. This place was awesome.
