Compared to other yakitori spots in Torrance, this restaurant feels more modern and stylish, both in its atmosphere and presentation.
Unlike traditional yakitori places that can be very smoky or feature strongly flavored cuts that may feel intimidating, this spot offers a refined and approachable experience.
The flavors are authentic yet balanced, making it enjoyable even for people who are not deeply familiar with Japanese cuisine. It’s a great place to introduce friends to yakitori in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and split a handful of skewers and a bento box. We enjoyed everything we tried and could tell the aunty/uncle running the restaurant really cared about the food. Everything tasted just right and was very mindfully prepared. We look forward to stopping in again soon!

Soooo delicious!! We went on a weekend to try their skewers and bentos. Everything is delicious and the highlight are the chicken thigh skewers. They are exactly the same we had at Japan. Love them!

It’s a Japanese izakaya with a sprawling menu of skewers, the kind of place where you can order almost everything on a whim. We did, and the results were mixed. The vegetables—particularly the blistered cherry tomatoes and meaty king oyster mushrooms—were standouts, handled with care and precision. The house specialty, chicken heart artery, was perfectly chewy, deeply seasoned, and easily the most memorable bite of the night.
The duck and chicken thigh skewers, however, fell short of expectation—pleasant enough, but lacking the juicy snap that makes yakitori sing. Among the small plates, the mirugai and tako-wasa came buried under too much garnish, tipping the balance away from the seafood itself.

Best LUX izakaya out there in Southbay. More of luxury version on yakitory and love the food quality and service. Recommend 100%. Reservation must.

Food was average for the price. Biggest issue was the staff. When we were seated, there was only 1 other person dining. By the time we ordered, 2 large parties of japanese business men came in. They seemed like regulars because the service was MUCH quicker / more attentive. We ordered 15 minutes before them but some how our food came out later.

The food quality was good. Impressed by their grilled Rice ball with chicken soup. We found some chicken feathers in one of the chicken wings and they changed it for us right away.
The dining experience was very good but the food is a bit pricey.

The food wasn’t bad at all — you can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into their dishes. But somehow, the seasoning felt a little off for my personal taste. Everything looked great and was well-prepared, but the flavors didn’t quite come together for me, especially considering the price.
That said, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the restaurant had a very pleasant, cozy atmosphere.
