We celebrated my Mom’s birthday here and had a great experience! Our server was amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and quick. She also offered advice on the menu. The Mac and Cheese was delicious and so was the fried walleye. The host was also excellent. Seating is important to my mom and he let us choose the perfect table. I am so glad we found this restaurant while we were in town.

First time here! Lovely atmosphere! Place was all decorated in Christmas decor. Was very festive! Food was very good and good variety on their menu. Looking forward to coming back for Sunday brunch.

The food here is AMAZING! Our family loves the breakfast hash (eggs, potatoes, pulled pork and heavenly hollandaise sauce) and apple crisp French toast so much that we order their family breakfast (car side pick-up) every Sunday. Hastings is SO blessed to have this gem of a restaurant in town. YUM!

If you’re looking for great food with an even better view, Hastings Public House is the place to be! Their menu is fun and eclectic, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s a perfect spot for families. The Sunday brunch is truly one of the best around, and the patio and veranda seating make it the perfect place to relax. Their event space is absolutely beautiful—and yes, they cater too! Highly recommend checking them out!

Easter Buffet brunch was so good: highlights were prime rib, walnut salad and green beens
Service was top notch so very sweet and helpful.
The only improvement is the dessert selection, a pie would have been nice, chocolate covered messy wasn’t as appealing.

My party had a reservation at lunch but nobody there knew. Lucky for us it was quiet at lunch and we were ok. The state of the menu in the photo should have been my hint at the food quality. But I had high expectations, and was disappointed. My grilled cheese had bacon and onions yes, but also sliced yellow American cheese. Big bummer. The fryer oil probably was old because all the fried food was very dark. The curds were ok, breaded not battered. Fried pickles, same deal. Overall we were not really impressed with the food we got. The server was very nice and attentive. The place was clean, nice bathrooms. Classy with cloth napkins.
