Just ate there today- I was in a rush, so I didn’t have the time to complain. Please consider supporting other local restaurants; my food was TERRIBLE. My steak was overdone and I only got 5-7 pieces, but I paid over 12.00. They overcharge you for the food, then underserve you. My rice was almost completely cold, and I could tell that it was old while everyone else was getting fresh food. Never returning again.

Stopped in for take out today. Only took 15 minutes, food was still hot when I got home 30 miles away, friendly staff, and the food was AMAZING! The chicken tempura was delicious and the steak/chicken hibachi was as well with very large portions!

Oh my god do not eat here!! There was a bug in the drink, tables and floor were sticky, service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for appetizers, and an hour for food, even though there was only 3 other tables eating. They didn’t send out the correct meal that I ordered, and I had to ask for them to take down the price of the meal. When I informed the server of the bug in the drink, I asked if she wanted to see it, and she goes “I believe you”, yikes. The soy sauce tasted like rubbing alcohol. Do not eat here.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews…but this place was just really bad. I really wish I hadn’t looked at the overall score and looked at recent reviews. I did not try the main menu, only the sushi, but the sushi was sketchy to say the least. I hope they turn things around because thr kids working there were nice and the place clearly used to get good reviews.

We came here a few times when they first opened and it was good. But suddenly it was like they stopped caring at all about the quality of the food. The sushi was warm and had a horrible smell, the wait was insane, and the hibachi mostly rice with no meat or veggies. I really like to support local places but I really cant go back here. Take the drive and just head up to Hinodes in springfield!

We used to love this place when it was a food truck and when it first opened as a restaurant but the food quality and service have gone down hill. It must depend on the chef that day because sometimes the food is good but the ingredient quality is lacking. There are also times the chef doesn’t know the difference between panko bread crumbs and a tempura batter which are staples in Japanese fried food.

Absolutely horrible experience! We ordered sushi to go. When we called they gave us a 20 minute wait that turned into 45. The service was awful after sitting there for 20 minutes watching the waitress walk past rolling her eyes multiple times, we finally got some service which was without any effort to please the customer. The sushi rice tasted purely like vinegar it was so bad that after one bite we wanted to puke! A complete waste of time and money! We will never return back.

The only good thing is the noodles. The sushi was poorly wrapped and it took forever for the food to come when we were the only ones dining in. The guy must have overcharged us cause when we added everything up off the menu the price was much less than what he charged us. Wouldn’t recommend.

So this was an unusually bad experience. It took 10 minutes for someone to take the order. The rest rooms did not have toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. They were out of chop sticks and I had to get silverware and soy sauce from a different table. The sushi rice was mushy (over cooked), the fish tasted “off”, and the even the horseradish had a faint brown tint in the top of it where it had been exposed to air too long. The decor was a strange combination of nice atmosphere (lighting, artwork) and sloppy fast food diner style seats and chipped/burned/overused sushi plates.
