Food was amazing, with the best server around! It was my birthday and she made it an amazing time, we had our group here for a casual dining experience. The atmosphere was great, lovely wooden furnish in the floor, great lighting, clean area, clean bathroom, not rushed. Location was amazing. Rustic and Modern.

This spot was absolutely perfect after a relaxing day use at the hot springs pool — we left feeling completely full and ready for a nap! The service was so welcoming and cozy, and the Montana-style atmosphere made us feel just right. It wasn’t crowded at all, which made it such a peaceful little getaway or day trip from western Montana. We’ll definitely be back — can’t wait to return!

Our dinner here is excellent. Having eaten all over the world, I wasn’t sure if the flavors and spices would be up to a non-Montana palate, but the clams were the best I’ve had anywhere, including Paris. The sauce was simply extraordinary. The fluffy rolls with garlic butter were delicious, the meat loaf was very hearty with a lovely sauce, and the beef tenderloin medallions were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was great. While the kitchen serves both The Tavern and the restaurant and they have a few of the same dishes, the food at the restaurant was more elevated. The only downside was they were out of the carpaccio by our 7:30pm seating, and there was a small delay on getting our fluffy rolls (not that big of a deal). Food portions were quite generous. Highly recommended!

This location is amazing. Tucked away on our drive home from Glacier we had to stop to get a bite to eat. The location was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was good and we got it in a timely manner after ordering. We will be taking a look at the lodge for our next trip.

We stayed in Quinn’s overnight and we had a nice dinner and breakfast at their restaurant, every dish was well prepared. We started with their well known and delicious trout and the bison carpaccio, and my husband had the couloute steak and he said it was very tender and delicious and he will order that again. I had the tenderloin medallion and it was well prepared, very tasty and tender. We finished with great cannolis. The drinks were nice and the restaurant has an extensive wine list. Bonnie took great care of us, very attentive. I will definitely go back again. The next day we enjoyed a very well prepared corned beef hash with poached eggs. Very delicious!

This is a really nice restaurant given the remote location. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant was lovely. Hummingbird watching was definitely one of the most memorable experience dining in this restaurant. We weren’t too impressed with the server when we first got in. Normally they always walk you to the table, but even after several minutes waiting to check in, the lady came out and just pointed at the table for you to sit at.
Luckily, our waitress is really friendly. We tried three different cocktails and they’re all great.
Steamed clam it’s amazing. The broth is out of this world. 10 out of 10. I would have it again any day.
Unfortunately, we had a little issue with the remaining dishes.
Roasted beet salad was a little too acidic. 7/10
The burger has great flavor, but the meat was super overcooked. It was dry, gray and borderline chewy. Luckily the sauce in the burger saved the meat. 6/10.
My beer battered cod fish and chips has great flavors. The fish was still moist. Unfortunately the batter was still raw on the inside, so I had to take the fish out and leave the batter. 6/10
We gave the feedback to the server and they were very receptive. I think without these mistakes, this would’ve been a 5 star experience.

Harwood House left me with mixed feelings. While the atmosphere is “cozy log cabin” and pleasant, the food fell short. I ordered the halibut, which was overcooked and lacked flavor. It was accompanied by an overly large salad and half of a baked sweet potato. It looked like something I would put together at home – presentation needs a lot of work. A sweet potato puree would have been better with a cooked vegetable. Also, the menu description did match the dish regarding the salad type.

On the other hand, others in our party who ordered red meat seemed to enjoy their meals, suggesting that might be the restaurant’s strong suit. We did enjoy the mushroom appetizer and desserts as a redeeming highlight. Overall, I expected more refinement and flavor from the dishes at these price points.

Best steak I have had in years! All staff were professional and uplifting. The only downside was no lemon was served with my ice tea, not a big deal at all. Will return on our next visit. Thank you all for a special evening.

Wow, our party of 10 had a 5⭐️ 2025 experience.
We ate here year ago around the same time of year and must have caught an off night, but my goodness… tonight was absolute and utter perfection. Jubal was our very attentive and kind waiter. I had the clams (insanely yummy, savory, flavorFULL sauce), and the beet salad. THE GARLIC ROLLS — unhinged!!
This was for sure my best restaurant experience this year, maybe even within the last several years.
I avoid steaks because we enjoy and cook them at home, but everything novelty was delightful. Thank you for a stand out experience.

We’ve been coming to Quinn’s to celebrate our birthdays for several years and the food and service at the Harwood House never disappoints. Last night was no exception. Smoked trout appetizer, scallops, beef tenderloin and dessert all outstanding. We look forward to the food as much as the springs. Breakfast is pretty good too.
