We love Harvest Tavern at the Mountain View Grand. Chef Andrew and his team always do an amazing job! The food is consistently great, and the service never disappoints.
They catered our wedding weekend and everything was absolutely delicious—our guests still talk about it. We’ve also eaten here many times since, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The breakfast buffet is also great and has everything you could want. Highly recommend!

Surprised. With a resort of this level the Harvest Tavern failed to impress.
Wait: was way longer than needed to be. That includes soups/salads/drinks and even bread. Some people at other tables got up and left. Saw servers delivering food to abandoned tables.
Food:
– Clam chowder – ok, could be hotter.
– Steamed asparagus – great.
– Burger – generic, not worth the price.
– Caesar Salad – portion size good. NOT “baby romaine lettuce” as it says in menu. Large uneatable stems instead. Too much dressing.
– Sirloin – ordered well done. Came in not well done. Sent back to kitchen – came back not well done again.
Penne Pasta – good.
Staff: not proactive, barely attentive. Spoons missing, silverware missing, plates not removed, water not refilled. And they had time to do it.
Kitchen can improve, waitresses can improve.

We made a reservation for our wedding anniversary in advance. We called days in advance and requested a window. We were seated in the back corner.
Next, we attempted to order a bottle of wine. They took 15 minutes to find the wine menu. When we selected a wine, 20 minutes later they told us they didn’t have it. We ordered another bottle. 15 minutes later they said they didn’t have it and brought up a bottle $100 more expensive as a “substitute”.
Finally, it took them over an hour to take our order. THEN over an hour to receive our order.
This is obscene. I will NEVER recommend this hotel or restaurant based on the level of service we have received.

We had the most amazing experience! Timothy worked so hard! He sat us, checked on us, walked my drink up to the spa all with a smile! Sasha greeted us daily with a beautiful smile and prompt attention. Madison and Emerson waited on us with attention to every detail! Such a warm friendly experience at Harvest tavern. Highly recommend!!

We had just checked into the hotel for a few days and decided to grab dinner in the Tavern dining room . The dining room overlooks the Presidential Mountain Range. It was beautiful. Our food was ok, our waitress was kind and helpful but the kitchen was severely understaffed. It took us over an hour before we got our meal. We were celebrating a birthday and decided to order a slice of cake for dessert. That took almost 30 minutes before it finally was served. When discussing the issue with the manager, it seems like staffing is an issue. In spite of this beautiful hotel, we won’t be dining here again.

Had salmon with vegetables.
Vegetables were undercooked
Salmon was good.
Bread with maple butter was good
Pear Salad with bleu cheese
A little on the sweet side.
I would reccomend topping it with feta cheese instead to balance out the sweetness.
Please serve the salad in a salad bowl, not a plate.
Or at least give me a spoon

Three things that we wanted to order were not available but we were not advised prior to looking at the menu. Swordfish was dried out, risotto undercooked, pork schnitzel over breaded and overcooked, hamburger not cooked as ordered and extremely overpriced for what we got!! Awful!

Great locally sourced food and drinks with super service (Collette is a gem).
So far, the Tavern Burger made from local beef and the shrimp and grits are my favorite dishes. As for cocktails, my new favorite is their Tiramisu Martini with the Strawberry Screwdriver a close second.
And it’s a bonus that the dining room looks out on the Presidential Range.

A bit understaffed but the food was high quality, portions were large, beer was fresh, drinks were expert made, and they were very accommodating for our kiddos. And the view is absolutely epic.

Really looking forward to our meal here but it was not worth the price tag. The wait was over an hour after placing the order for three salads, two soups and a few kids meals. It was inconsistent because one soup was hot, one cold, two children’s meals had fries that were completely different. The most disappointing was the hot maple glazed carrots – cold, raw peeled carrots with maple syrup and red pepper flakes for $10. Portions were too small and not tasty enough to justify the price tag.
