Reviews
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a family meal, Harvest Room never disappoints. Highly recommend!
I ordered the Brisket Hash and Eggs – it also comes with either toast or pancakes – I chose the pancakes, which actually was the best choice and best food I had. The coffee is also pretty good. Bold and HOT.
The Brisket Hash is served in a smaller cast-iron dish on your plate. It’s super dry. I think it’s mixed with some hashbrowns and onions and some spices. But it was way too dry and didn’t taste like smoked brisket, so if you were hoping for that taste of brisket, this isn’t the right choice. It also comes with eggs and I had them over easy, other than still a little runny and not cooked through, they were okay. The pancakes were the best though. Super soft, comes with butter (on the side) plus syrup and a small tiny cup of applesauce (tasty). They had good flavor and was perfect.
Someone at our table also ordered the Biscuit and Gravy. It’s a super large flaky biscuit (way too dry) and some dark sausage gravy that tasted more like flour than sausage gravy. It was definitely thick, but the flavor was off. We did not finish it.
Others at our table got just eggs, bacon and toast. Something you can make at home anyway, so it’s hard to mess it up honestly. And one other person ordered the greek salad. The dressing comes ON the salad already, and it felt like they could have served some extra on the side. Just wasn’t enough. Plus the salad was served on a plate, not in a bowl, so salad and toppings fell off onto the table. Not the prettiest presentation.
In fact, the theme of this place is – everything is served on a separate dish, so good luck finding space on your table. Plus I feel the prices are way higher than they should be for the portion size and quality of food.
The other issue here is that this place is LOUD. Someone in our group uses hearing aids and they had to turn them down because it was way too loud. we could hardly have a normal conversation and there were just five of us at a long table. The chairs are another issue I feel. As you scoot in and away from the table, it feels like the legs are going to break from underneath you at any point. They are wobbly, and very uncomfortable.
So, in closing, I wanted to LOVE this place, but it’s just an overpriced brunch location with a large two-sided menu of bland food with the loudest rooms imaginable.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. Other than the politeness of the hostess, there were not too many things to rave about over breakfast.
Before we talk about the food, let’s spend a moment and discuss atmosphere and overall ambiance. The decor is lackluster and cold from my perspective which attributes to horrible acoustics. It was very loud this morning and every time the staff emptied dirty dishes in the kitchen it reverberated throughout the restaurant like they dropped a full tray. Next, the music was interesting at best. While I don’t mind dance music, perhaps playing it during breakfast is a bit much. All we were missing was flashing lights and a DJ. When I mentioned the music selection to the server, she commented the owner likes it and will not change it.
Now the food. Food was well below expectations with runny eggs, thin pancakes that looked more like crepes and a broken hollandaise sauce. I won’t even mention the coffee stains on the walls. Sorry guys, you need to do better.
The Spanish style potatoes with queso fresco and topped off with avocado was a great touch …
My waitress Suemy was very attentive and friendly and had a great presence.
Excellent pancake with a slight crisp to the edges topped off with a light dust of powdered sugar ..
coffee was refreshing ..
You can taste the Great quality ingredients in every bite… can’t wait to try another dish …!!!!
Son had oatmeal and that had no flavor at all. I would recommend they remove it or doctor it up. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, seasoning, butter – something! Aunt got Biscuit and gravy and she liked hers as well
They have a great variety of teas (hot and cold).
Overall, great spot.
The nachos arrived soggy when put on our table and the BBQ dish tasted like one of the sauces was microwaved or something. I can’t even really describe it. Just tasted overly sweet and plastic-like. Other than that it was good.
Parking is awesome, plenty of space.
We loved it.
My coffee, orange juice, and skillet were all delicious.

The hours here are great—open from 7 AM to 3 PM, perfect for brunch. My partner and I came in around 9:20 AM and were seated after about five minutes, which was fine considering the mild crowd.
We were assigned to a server named Jesus, who unfortunately didn’t provide the best service. He only checked on us twice during our entire 90-minute stay. It really felt like we were forgotten at times.
I started with the Booty Collins, a drink described as passion fruit-infused vodka with a two-drink limit due to its strength. It was honestly underwhelming—more like a light, refreshing drink without any real kick. I followed that with The Revival, a take on the Manhattan, and it was the complete opposite—super strong. I expected the strength from the first drink, not the second.
For food, I got the New York Strip (ordered medium), sunny-side-up eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. The eggs and hash browns were the only highlights. The steak came out medium-well and needed A1 sauce, which I had to ask for more than once. The pancakes were the biggest letdown—flat, crumbly, and not fluffy at all.
My partner didn’t have any major complaints, but she asked for scrambled eggs with cheddar and got mozzarella instead.
The vibe was mediocre, the food was hit-or-miss, and the service really dragged the experience down. Overall, I’d give Harvest Room a 2.5 out of 5. Not the worst, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
