We’re where locals begin their day, visitors refuel during mountain adventures, and the community comes together. Our food is simple and fresh. We source locally and focus on quality ingredients and pride ourselves on making everything from scratch. No fuss, just good food prepared well. Good food, good company. Always.

The menu has great options for brunch. Vegan options, nuts, dairy, gluten: all of these labels are very clear on the menu.
We had a great valentines themed coffee with beetroot.
Firm recommend!
Their coffee was also excellent. The drip coffee was truly exceptional as was their vanilla latte.
This will be our new go to for breakfast and lunch in Midway/ Heber.
Gorgeous spot for a girls brunch, coffee date, or small family gathering.
PS. We liked it so much that we came back the next day as well!
I was especially looking forward to a piccolo, but it was a big disappointment. The espresso was burnt and bitter, and I ended up asking for a plain coffee instead. My dish, the Savory Toast, was beautifully presented, but the execution fell short. The sourdough was overcooked and tough, and the poached egg was dry with a hard yolk.
There’s a lot to like about the setting and atmosphere, so I might give it another try — but this visit missed the mark.
I saw some reviews on here from their opening and people complained about non sense like if I would go to McDonalds and leave them a bad review because I don’t like the color of their logo, there are many other things you would rate McDonald’s 1 star for.
To my point, as a business owner I know how hard it is to maintain good score and people are sometimes wrong without understanding what they’re doing.
This place is great! Beautiful design, great food, great space, amazing spot and nice staff.
Coffee was amazing and large I couldn’t finish it! Breakfast toast was yummy! Support our amazing local businesses that are worth it! We will be back here.
They promote themselves as a health conscious restaurant, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to try them. However, I was disappointed to find out that they cook with a blend of canola oil and vegetable oil. When I asked if my meal could be made with a healthier oil, my server told me not worry that they don’t cook with seed oils. When I asked what they do use she told me it was a blend and not to worry. When I asked what the blend consisted of, she finally admitted it was a blend of vegetable and canola oil. I told her that those are unhealthy oils that I would like to avoid. I was told it wasn’t possible due to certain ingredients being pre sautéed in a large batch every morning using the unhealthy oil blend. While I understand the logistics, it was disheartening to hear, especially at a place that emphasizes healthy eating.
For context, many health conscious people try to avoid seed oils like canola and generic vegetable oils due to concerns about their inflammatory properties and how they’re processed. I would’ve loved to see options like avocado oil, olive oil, or even butter/lard for cooking. If the restaurant could offer cleaner oil alternatives, it would set them apart in a big way. since very few places in the area are up to date with the health risks and choose to prioritize this.
On the positive side, the matcha latte I ordered was delicious, and their hot chocolate was beautifully presented. I originally came to try their house made, healthier version of a pumpkin spice latte, but unfortunately, they were out of it at the time.
One other small downside was that they are card-only and do not accept cash. Which was inconvenient for my frind and I’m sure others who live in this cute town. especially since some card readers charge an extra fee (though I forgot to check if theirs did).
Overall, I love what they’re trying to do. The space is gorgeous, the drinks were great, and the concept is promising. If they can grow into offering truly health forward cooking methods (especially with better oils), I would be absolutely thrilled to return, recommend and support them regularly.
That said, our server hovered over our shoulder while we were adding the tip, which was awkward. Also, $4 to add two slices of bacon and $4 to add half an avocado to our sandwich felt overpriced for those items.
Some small adjustments could make the experience even better.
