Haruki remains, without question, the best sushi restaurant in Rhode Island. The fish is consistently fresh, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. No matter what you order, you truly can’t go wrong—every dish delivers exceptional flavor and quality. A must-visit for sushi lovers.

Not only is the staff friendly and accommodating, but they go above and beyond. Making a custom roll for me and even making the plates extra cute and fancy! Today, my roll came as a dragon. ❤️ Going here always makes my day, and the sushi could NOT be better! Best sushi I’ve ever had. Try the Diana roll!

A sushi restaurant in Cranston RI. The food was good and they give you generous portions. Appetizers, we had edamame, crab cream croquettes, and agedashi dofu (they call it age dofu). They are all good except crab cream croquettes didn’t taste like crab at all. The sushi was good. The chutoro was excellent and the cut is very generous. Staff are friendly and nice too. I highly recommend this place.

I’m in town for work and had a craving for sushi. This place was open, where some higher rated places were closed, so I took a shot.
The bartender/server was friendly and accommodating, as I wanted some small changes from the menu items. He went out of his way to speak to the chefs, and I ended up with an excellent selection. The sushi and sashimi were excellent.
The atmosphere was quiet enough to allow casual conversation without yelling.
10/10 would eat here again.

We’ve tried Haruki a few times. The bathrooms are clean and the food is okay. What earns this restaurant 2 stars is the (lack of) service. Each time we’ve been in, it’s been during a slow period (outside of lunch and dinner rushes,) with maybe 2-3 other tables occupied in various stages of having a meal. We’ve waited upwards of 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. Most recently, it was several minutes of waiting in the doorway while employees looked over at us, and then another 10+ minutes at the table without seeing a single server out on the floor.
Maybe we should have attempted to go during a rush, but 10+ minutes with no staff aside from the sushi chefs in sight is a little much.

Sushi is good, but everything else is mostly average to poor. The sushi is handmade at the restaurant, but the egg rolls and any chicken options seem like they were bought from Restaurant Depot and then marked up quite a bit.

My friend and I decided to try a random sushi spot and ended up at Haruki. The service was okay—people were nice, but nothing stood out. I ordered the bento box special with chicken teriyaki, and my friend got the House Special crispy shrimp. The soup that came with my bento box was one of the better broths I’ve had at a sushi spot, really flavorful.
The sushi was good, though it was cold (not their fault; just how it was served). The chicken teriyaki with the sauce was tasty, and the salad was decent—liked it. The last section of the box had vegetable noodles with broccoli and oranges, which I could’ve done without. My friend’s crispy shrimp was warm and really flavorful, which made me wonder a bit about my cold sushi. He enjoyed it and was pretty much speechless.
Overall, despite the cold sushi, it was a good meal.

We visited with a group of 11 today, and the staff went above and beyond between making sure we had a long table together, got drink orders quickly, and had food come out all at once. We can’t visit often after moving out of town, but we still find our way back to Haruki. All sections of the menu are worth ordering from, and the staff is always kind and very good at what they do. 5/5!

Came in after having to leave another Restaraunt as I got left hanging at bar for 20+ minutes not able to even place an order for a drink nevermind food. Bartender was on point. Welcomed me asked what I wanted to drink or wanted to see a drink menu. Friendly and welcoming which is my biggest pet peeve when going out to eat. I can forgive so so food if service is top notch. I got the miso soup and chicken katsu. Both good sized and cooked and tasted great.
