A true hidden gem. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The sashimi is thick and high quality, and the rolls are loaded with fresh fish. Definitely worth a visit!

Best sushi I’ve ever had. I am on a lowfat diet and really appreciated that they also had a low fat cream cheese offering fir my substitutions. The seaweed salad was also the best I’ve ever had.

I’m writing this because I’m genuinely disappointed. I used to eat here often and loved having a sushi and Asian food option in Belfair. The sushi has stayed consistent, which I appreciate, but unfortunately everything else has declined.
Prices have increased to around $30 per meal, which I wouldn’t mind if the experience matched the cost. I ordered ramen and asked to substitute chicken for pork due to my pollotarian diet. I was told substitutions weren’t allowed, even when I offered to pay extra. I ended up with just broth and noodles, no protein, which was very disappointing.
On another visit, I placed a simple online order and waited the full 30 minutes before arriving. When I got there, my order hadn’t even been started, despite the restaurant not being busy. I waited an additional 20+ minutes. The rice with my meal also seemed hard or stale.
I want to support this place, but recent experiences have been consistently disappointing. I hope service and food quality improve.

The staff is always friendly and seem happy to help, the food is probably the best sushi and susheemi I’ve had on the peninsula to date, and it’s a nice quiet little spot on the corner near the Safeway and it’s never overly busy busy I’ve never seen it empty unless they’re closed. The sushi chef is truly talented, as I’ve eaten some truly incredibly prepared items in my life, and this place really holds up to my high standards. And they do a great job of offering the very Americanized options that the north American palet enjoys, while also offering things a bit more adventurous, based on the local clientele.

Take a minute to be greeted and welcomed by this wonderful sushi, teriyaki, and wok restaurant. You may drive by it daily, but I highly recommend making a stop. Genuine kindness on top of great food. The menu isn’t overwhelming and you can taste every flavor with the sushi. They care about the taste and quality of their food, as well as their customers. Thank you for showing kindness every time I walk through the door. Keep it up.

We ordered $67 worth of sushi, one jimmy jimmy roll, shrimp tempura roll and two sunset rolls, online the sunset rolls say they have avocado on them and when we picked them up they didn’t have any avocado so we called back and asked, they said they changed it but never updated online to reflect the new recipe not having avocado on it anymore. They did not do anything to fix the problem or offer any solutions and ended the call. The food was good just not really what we ordered and service wasn’t great.

Pleasantly SURPRISED! We haven’t been out to eat for quite some time. I am always hesitant to try a “new” restaurant. Especially sushi! The owner of our last favorite place retired. (I am fundamentally a cheapskate so I expect a lot) Expectations EXCEEDED!
The portions were generous!! The cost was a little more that the last time we went out (thank you bidenomics).
But it was so fresh! The hotate (scallops) were melt in your mouth good! The salmon sashimi!!!! Yummy! Everything was so good!

We just moved to the area and have been trying all the local establishments; Haru blew our expectations out of the water. We ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, Cherry Blossom roll and Spider roll.
All the food was delicious and prepared quickly. The chicken dish was the best version my husband ever had. He made a point to send compliments back to the kitchen. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. We will be eating here again and again.

Ok first…..the staff has always been awesome here, and the new owners are just as amazing. The food has always been great with the new owners and we have never had a bad meal or experience. As a business owner in Belfair WA myself, I strive to support businesses with amazing customer service and this is one of them.
Today, Oct 7th 2021, I stopped in and got the Broccoli Beef with fried rice instead of white rice and I ordered the Hawaiian Sushi Roll that was amazing (see images). My office is instead North Mason Chamber of Commerce in Belfair and all the ladies tried it and were ecstatic as I am with how amazing this roll was. You created an outstanding sushi option and I hope it stays around. I’m so very impressed by the quality of food, sushi and staff everything I stop in that I had to leave a review today. Great job.
