Friendly place. Fast service. Very good burgers. Decent beer and wine selection. We went at a busy time and were surprised how well they served food. Elkin has a lot of free parking as does Harry’s.

Small little restaurant in downtown Elkin. Home style cooking with good portions for the price. Regulars say the daily specials and dinner are great. We just got burgers for lunch and a beer. Good selection of beer and wine. They have some outdoor seating. Great friendly service. Small but clean restrooms. Plenty of parking on the street or in lots nearby. Very walkable area, so go explore Elkin after your meal.

We stopped in for lunch. Both had burgers. The food was ok and was great for the price, but nothing special regarding taste. Service was ok but rushed due to the crowd, so understandable. Good selection of beer. It was crowded and seating is a bit close. We may try dinner sometime.

Harry’s Place is a small, hole-in-the-wall bar, but it is always hopping! You’ll probably have to wait, but it’s worth it. Staff are super friendly and they work very hard. The crablegs are DELICIOUS! We drive an hour one way, and will continue to do so.

Great spot for some home cooked food. The boneless pork chops are really delicious. The greens are prepared well and ready to take on some vinegar and hot sauce 🙂 The slaw is creamy and crisp. The cornbread is good. Overall seems like a great spot, can’t wait to try dinner, I’ve gave up waiting in line twice before today though ;).

Looking for a local place to eat while traveling. Not disappointed at all. Staff were excellent and the food was very tasty. Had the sirloin steaks that did not need any other seasoning. Limited hours so check before. Pet friendly for outside eating. Nothing fancy just good food in a cool small place.

The food was great. My burger for lunch definitely wasn’t some frozen patty. It was the real deal. The service was good for such a tiny eating area. If you looked around too much you’d notice it isn’t the cleanest restaurant you’ve rated in. The ceiling tiles looked like they were about to fall down. They also appear to be some sort of old asbestos material. The outside bathrooms are hilarious. I’d go back.

Small town Gold Mine! From one of the best Steaks around these parts to Crab Legs and Shrimp. This isn’t your modern day restaurant, it’s old school for sure. Arrive early and sign in. Also make sure your entire party is on time so you can be seated, if not its next in line untill they arrive.
