Had breakfast at Harriman’s all six days that we stayed at the Salamander. We ate outdoors each time. The setting here is beautiful, and the breakfast is world class, we loved it every morning. While we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant during dinner hours, the menu does look nice during that timeframe, too. If dinner is near as good as breakfast, then you’d be in for a treat.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Harrimans and our experience was superb! The food, ambiance, and service was top notch. Anna, our waitress, was phenomenal; she was so knowledgeable about the menu and extremely personable. We never felt rushed and didn’t regret any of our course choices. And as a cherry on top, the Chef came to our table (as well as others) to ensure everything was meeting our expectations. It truly may have been the best restaurant experience we had this year (and that’s saying a lot).

Had brunch here today. It has an upscale, relaxed atmosphere perfect for breakfast/brunch. There are beautiful views of the grounds to admire while you dine. The menu offers plenty of options to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Staff were friendly and attentive. I am only giving 4-stars because my omelet did have a small hair in it. I brought it to the attention of staff and they promptly corrected it and they did deduct 50% of my dish from the check. That said, it’s a wonderful establishment and I will certainly dine there again!

Came here for my birthday after my spa treatment, and the service was divine. The waiter was attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food, staff, and the ambience made my birthday very special. I would recommend this place for a special occasion, or every day dining.

We found the food to be very disappointing – all entrees came out over cooked and all flavors were off. The service was friendly but very clumsy – took 20 minutes to track down a bottle of wine, servers couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu, wine glasses left unfilled. If prices were half as much, it wouldn’t have mattered as much, but we expected more for the price point. Would not go back.

Great choice if you’re staying at the Salamander resort. Great food and better service. Must try the grilled Octopus served over a bowl of Black eyed peas. The Oyster Rockafella was a great appetizer too. We had the Halibut and 18 oz Bone in Kansas City strip. The Halibut was cooked perfect, flaky, and great tasting. I tried some of the KC strip and it was cooked just right too. Just a great evening and we came back for breakfast. Just a great experience!!!
