Reviews
The food was solid, the drinks were amazing, and everything came out just right. You can tell care goes into what they serve.
What really makes this place special, though, is the owner. She is a beautiful soul inside and out, and it shows in every detail of the experience. Her warmth and passion truly set the tone for the entire bar.
If you’re looking for great music, great drinks, good food, and an even better atmosphere, Harp Bar & Grille is the place to be. We will absolutely be back.
The music is great and the food, I couldn’t get enough of. The chicken stripes were so crispy and flavourful (definitely a must try) and the drinks, just say the bartenders really know how to mix it up as well…

Adding New Menu
I tried the new menu at harps, even though I went looking for the lamb chops that was on the old trap menu.
I got the fried fish platter and in order of wings. Everything was was delicious, but I will say I miss having soul food side options. It was the biggest reason I loved finding this hidden Jewel right next door ♀️
We absolutely do not have enough soul food options here in West Haven, but I’m glad the new menu still serves good food
I always support black owned businesses
As I’m a small minority business owner my self. Unfortunately in my recent experiences . its always something off. Especially when it come to customer service and the food, but here the waitress was super attentive and had the best personality. GOOD energy was on a 1000 and the wings were made to perfection! It didn’t take extra long to get my food. I loved the motivational quotes all throughout the place .
The owner greeted every customer in the place Before the place was full .Which was very nice to see ! That added a welcoming touch when the place got really full , and the bartenders were hustling. I also observed her the OWNER hop right in to help instead of sitting back and watching them drowned with drink orders ! That’s spoke volumes as the type of business woman she is ! I will definitely go back and I’m definitely telling a friend to tell a friend. !
This was my second or third time visiting Harp’s Grill Bar & Grill, but my first time actually sitting down to eat—and I’m glad I did.
I stopped in for what I like to call a “late-night snack” and ordered some wings. Let me tell you, those wings were delicious. Thursday night also happened to be karaoke night, and the vibe was exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy.
If you’re 35+ and looking for a relaxed, grown-folks setting with a mix of cultures, good food, and good music, this is definitely a spot to check out. All cultures and all vibes are welcome here.
From what I observed, the woman I believe to be the owner—Tasha—runs a tight ship. As a fellow business owner, I appreciated the way she handled things. Respect.
