Must call to order at this location. Took 25 mins. They collect the money (CASH ONLY) , then you park and wait. It was fresh and good. I suggest getting the sauce on the side. The fries are meh definitely need salt and pepper or dip in that sauce.

The chicken is very good on 183rd and Hazel crest they do a great job. Only the person that answers the phone is very impatient and hangs up too quick other than that it’s a great place to buy food.

0 STARS. HAZEL CREST LOCATION. THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCED. AS WE ATTEMPTED TO ENTER THE RESTAURANT, A BIG GUY WITH COLORED HAIR WHOM WAS ALREADY OUTSIDE STARTED TALKING LOUDLY “ITS ONLY CALL IN”, CANT YOU READ? “ ITS A NEW AREA FOR US. A MENU WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. HE PROCEEDS TO YELL SMART REMARKS IMPLYING WE ARE DUMB. IT WASNT THAT SERIOUS TO TALK DOWN TO US BECAUSE WE THOUGHT A RESTAURANT WAS OPEN. I ordered a large Perch dinner and asked for my fish to be fried hard.
Well what I received was too hard from me to bite into and the fish crumble in my hand.
The fish is old and had no seasoning on it! Fries was cold and hard.
You have to wait in your car for them to bring your food to you when over the phone I was told 15 to 20 mins and my food would be ready and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes in the parking lot for this TERRIBLE CRAP!!
THEY DID TEPLACE MY ORDER AND IT WAS STILL TERRIBLE!
THIS HAROLD’S CHICKENI WILL NEVER ORDER FROM AGAIN $20 FOR THIS CRAP!!

10/7-Is there a new cook? Food wasn’t the same. Also, when I ask for WELL DONE fries & get white, barely cooked ones, it’s like asking for a well done steak & they bring it to u cooked rare. Had to drop my rating from a 5 to a 3.
This is THE BEST Harold’s I’ve been to! My order is always correct & the food is always delicious. I would have given 5 stars but the ordering & pickup process needs to be fixed. Things would go much smoother if we could order & pay online, or pay with a card at pickup.

The chicken at this Harold’s is really good! Probably the best out of all the Harold’s locations I’ve tried in the suburbs.
I didn’t give 5 stars because 1) they’re cash only. It’s annoying to not be able to use a card. Even if they had an online system where you could order and pay online, it would be more convenient. And 2) I wish the chicken tasted more seasoned. Even when I ask for extra lemon pepper, they’re still very light handed with the seasoning and I can never really taste it, like I can with other Harold’s. 3) They have weird hours, they’re closed on Monday’s and they close at 7 most other days.
But the chicken is always fried perfectly, the mild sauce is amazing and their fries are better than some other Harold’s locations I’ve had. And the people who answer the phone and bring you your food are extremely friendly!
