Saw this restaurant was having its grand opening and wanted to check it out. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested! The inside of the restaurant looks very classy. There’s a hibachi area outside for bigger parties as well, which also looks nice. Personally, I found the food a little pricey, but the portion sizes definitely make up for it!

10/10, will definitely try to bring people here.

We came on Christmas Eve for a date night and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was excellent as well! Great prices and a nice walk to the circle after dinner.

I went to the Downtown location for my birthday on Thursday 2/26. I came in and made a reservation a week prior to the date, we were the only party on the book for that day. They called me the day OF and asked for me to move my reservation time because they only had one hibachi chef(they had 2), as well as getting my reservation wrong. The language barrier from the host definitely turned out to be an issue. So I moved it back to 8pm, I kid you not… we did not get serviced until after 20 minutes of being seated. We also did not have a hibachi chef for over an HOUR after being seated. My food came from the kitchen cold(teriyaki shrimp). Of My party of 14, no one liked the food. We just have had better all around the board. Our server was pretty good though.
The prices are higher than most the hibachi places around as well as, like $38 dollars for shrimp hibachi is absurd. Also not a lot of sushi options(I got the Harmony roll, nothing to write home about). In addition the 20% gratuity is crazy work.

I will not be back. Happy Birthday to me and my Twin Sister!

My first impression of Harmony Steak House is I will be back with guests. I found the restaurant to be elegant; the bourbon selection robust among other selections, food was prepared to request and seasoned appropriately, and staff was accommodating and friendly. The talk noise at lunch was very low; they had piano based music playing at a moderate level, but there was no trouble carrying on conversation. Outdoor seating is available, which was a nice option. The 220 Meridian building where this restaurant is housed on floor 1 has an integrated parking garage at the southwest. I’m glad the restaurant is nearby to work, and hope it remains for a long time.

Great ambiance, wonderful and attentive service. Food was very fresh and yummy. Weather was gorgeous so opted to sit outside, it is very loud with the traffic. At times was difficult to speak across the table. But still enjoyed my time and food!

Ordered sashimi. 4 pieces of raw fish. It took 20 minutes to come out. The restaurant was completely empty. The fish was partially frozen so the texture was completely off. Super bummed because I was REALLY excited for some good fish.

I never write reviews but 57$ later I can’t help but feel ripped off. Unfortunately I will not be coming back.

I went in December of 2025 for my daughter’s birthday. Upon arrival my brother was told we didn’t have reservations but we did and they eventually found it. We get seated and it is freezing, the waiter comes I informed him that myself and two other people seating at my table have a shellfish allergy. He says ok and leaves the cook comes I again remember them of the allergy. He says ok I see the veggies sitting on top of everything so I didn’t notice right away. After he lift the tray of veggies I see the shrimp and chicken on the same tray touching. I say hey I informed you of our shellfish allergy he says yes again and places the shrimp and chicken on the grill. My sister tries to explain that we can not eat it, he catches a attitude right away and goes to get more chicken. He turns to me and says with attitude YES THIS BETTER. I say the cooking utensils need to cleaned as well again attitude. This could’ve possibly kill one of us but he didn’t care enough to follow protocols. Do better

I don’t know how this place has any 5 star reviews. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night (for good reason). The hibachi could’ve been cooked by a child and was worth $5 max, yet they charge $30 for the plate. I’ve had better fried rice microwaved from Trader Joe’s. Our food took 40 minutes to come out even though the restaurant was empty and came out cold. Also, we had to wait 45 minutes for our checks after asking for them and they didn’t come out correctly. They need to add an option to remove the auto gratuity from your bill.

I recently dined at Harmony Steakhouse in downtown Indianapolis with a large party of 25 guests, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.

While the appetizers were enjoyable, the overall service and entrée quality did not meet expectations. Upon being seated, we quickly noticed that the ventilation system at our hibachi table was not functioning properly. The grill produced an excessive amount of smoke — to the point that even the chef was coughing. Several guests, including myself, experienced eye irritation due to the smoke. We brought this to the attention of both our waiter and what appeared to be a manager. We were informed that the ventilation system was broken, but no alternative seating or solution was offered.

Additionally, the chef did not review individual meal orders prior to cooking, which led to several mistakes. Some guests received items they did not order, while others did not receive items they had requested. Entrées were also not prepared according to specifications. For example, a steak ordered medium was cooked well done, the chicken was very tough, and salmon that was requested well done was undercooked.

Toward the end of our visit, after most of our party had already left, staff approached us stating that one individual had not paid their bill. While attempting to clarify the situation, we requested to see the receipt and verify payment with the guest directly. Before we had an opportunity to fully address the matter, law enforcement was contacted by the restaurant. The guest in question returned and confirmed that she had, in fact, already paid. The payment receipts and her debit card were ultimately found together in the restaurant’s bill holder.

This situation could have been resolved internally through better communication before involving the police. Being wrongly accused of non-payment is a serious matter, and the lack of apology or acknowledgment from staff following the discovery of the payment was concerning.

Overall, this experience reflected poor communication, service challenges, and operational issues that significantly impacted our evening. I hope management takes steps to address these concerns to improve future guest experiences.

Had an awesome time at Harmony Steakhouse downtown. We had Hibachi and it was a great chef, great food and great atmosphere. Service was top notch.
Our only issue was we couldn’t park in the on-site garage for some reason, so we parked next door at the underground garage.
