Since 1980 Harlow’s Cafe has been serving the Tempe community with classic cafe/diner specialties. It is a family establishment and very popular with regulars. Close to the ASU campus. Specials include May’s Egg Benedict, House made salsa, Chorizo and Eggs, Juevos Rancheros, and the cisco sandwich.

Amazing! I heard this restaurant was good and it did not disappoint. We had Bloody Mary’s to start. So good! Not too spicy. Then we split a Three of Clubs sandwich. It was huge and so good. Crispy bacon and loaded with meat. Fries are crispy. My friend had a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. The service was great. The owner checked in and brought us muffins to take home. Everyone was so nice. This is what a local diner should be.

Harlow’s Cafe was such a vibe—honestly felt straight out of Hollywood with its classic, cool atmosphere. You just know the food is going to hit when you see a lot of older folks dining there… that’s always the best sign .
The food was pure soul food comfort—rich, hearty, and made with love. Definitely come hungry because the portions are no joke. We couldn’t even finish everything they gave us! I ordered the country fried steak and it was amazing—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and smothered in gravy.

After seeing the reviews & the pictures, we knew we had to try it. My husband got the patty melt, I got the pancakes with a side of oatmeal & my daughter got a hash brown & bacon burrito. Their homemade blueberry muffins were hot & fresh & melted in my mouth! The atmosphere felt like home & the staff were super nice & welcoming. The owner was even on the floor helping the waters/waitresses & was really nice. You can tell he was involved in everything. Our family came from Albuquerque, NM for our trip but we’ll come back here for sure! Adding it to our favorites!

This was our second attempt at finding an establishment that served brunch on Easter Sunday. The first place we left, it was too noisy with music so loud you had to shout to be served. The second place, Harlows, was also loud, but with the delightful sound of people enjoying each other’s company! And the food! Amazing! I had the Tiffany omelet and biscuits. Everything was fresh and very tasty! My compliments to the chef! Highly recommend this diner!

A long overdue review. Came here with my mom and brother for breakfast before our flight. We also needed to kill a lot of time before our flight as well. Food was great! I believe I got the pancakes with a side of hash brown potatoes.

We really wanted to like Harlow’s Cafe. I had found it looking for unique breakfast restaurants. It had good reviews and the photos looked great. The place itself is really quaint and cozy, just a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. My wife ordered coffee, pancakes and a side of bacon. I ordered a basic eggs and sausage with home fries and biscuits. The extremely nice server offered me a side of sausage gravy to try also so I was all set. I also ordered hot tea. My tea serves was well done and hot. My wife’s coffee was ok as she put it. As you can see from the photos my eggs were very over done. I ordered over medium and they were not edible. The biscuits weee very bland and the gravy tasked off, as in maybe it had gone bad. My wife’s pancakes were ok but a bit chewy. We were so disappointed with the food. It is not cheap, not terrible but about more than we expected. From the other reviews we are thinking maybe it was just a bad day but it was not a good experience for us.

My husband found this location from Instagram and wanted to check it out. We eneded up not being disappointed at all!! The food tasted homemade and not making you feel icky after you eat like other places,and the staff is very friendly and attentive! We have tried many places for brunch and this one is our top of the list favorite now. We loved it to much We went back with a friend for mimosas and we had so much fun you wont regret eating here because your money is well spent guaranteed ❤️

I have been coming here for a while since I moved here and I love this place, astonishing food, great people you run into. But for the last 6 times I have been in throughout the holiday season when I go to pay, and one of the hostesses is taking care of me the blond girl with micro bangs comes up and snatches the things out of her hands, whether it is the money I had her to pay or the card. The blond girl snatches it right out of that poor girls hands, intentionally and rudely. I will not be coming back until that problem is fixed because morally that is wrong and I will not support someone being rude to a fellow employee.

We were in Arizona for my work Christmas party and were slightly feeling it the next morning . We decided to grab breakfast at Harlows and ended up having such a great experience. We met the owner-so welcoming and kind-and he even had us sample several menu items while we waited. The chorizo and house-made salsa were incredible, and honestly, some of the best restaurant coffee I’ve had. The entire staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and the hangover was officially cured. 10/10 would absolutely recommend Harlows.
