The food truck was in silver spring on 2nd avenue today so I gave it a try. When I dropped my daughter off and holy crap. It was good! She had mixed a little bit of the meat in the collard greens which were awesome, and the pulled pork sandwich I had with the tangy barbecue sauce was delicious to say the least. The mac and cheese was definitely homemade and great. If you see the Hardy’s BBQ truck, definitely stop and get a sandwich or some chicken wings and absolutely get some of the collard greens.

We hired Hardy’s BBQ for a corporate event and EVERYBODY loved the food…if you’ve ever coordinated an event, you know what a huge compliment it is when everyone is happy. Roxie and team showed up early, got us perfectly set up, and left us to enjoy a wonderful meal. Roxie recommended just the right amount of food. We’ll be back for more. Thank you, Hardy’s BBQ!!!!

I was so excited to finally try this place out .. Only to be disappointed. The potatoes from the potato salad were under cooked, tasted like straight up mustard, no flavor. The Ribs did not have BBQ all over them. Only on the top. My Son had the chicken and it was under cooked as well and was unable to finish it after seeing the blood on the chicken bone . It also lacked flavor. I even tried cooking it some more in our oven and he was still turned off from the sight. The mac and cheese were cooked with penne pasta which were also disappointed with lack of flavor. The only thing I enjoyed were the hush puppies. I am new to this area and so far the best southern or BBQ, I have had were from this place at the Bowie Town Center food court called Wesley’s Southern Cuisine. Their potato salad and mac and cheese are on point. Fried fish and Ribs are to die for. Mind you now this place is in a food court of all places and their food are delicious. I will not be returning to Hardy’s to waste another $50.00 on mediocre flavor food.

I have been a customer of Hardy’s BBQ for over 6 years! We stopped for a rib sandwich while my oldest daughter was taking dance class in Bethesda, and the rest has been a history of great smoked BBQ! I’ve been to their restaurant in Bowie, MD as well! The ribs are so good and addictive LOL! I’ll be back soon for my quarterly slab!!

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu, and not a single item was disappointing – all of it was completely on point! Seriously delicious! The best BBQ you can get! They also have a unique dish that is great “Meat Fries” french fries with pulled pork, chicken, or beef with there special sauce, with or without cheese. I have had all three and they all are good. The pork is my favorite. The ribs and whole chicken are better than any restaurant. I only wish they were open everyday.

Came back a second time for some more ribs and took them to go since it was cold out. The first time I had the ribs, they were tender and much easier to pick off the bone. This time, they were much more tough (but still tasty). The fries, beans, and slaw were all great. Hopefully the tough ribs this time were a fluke.
