The food was amazing. The salad was simple, but amazing. It wasn’t a gourmet salad by any stretch, but it was so good. Then came the catfish fritters. Holy smokes were they good. I had some plain and they were top notch. I tried some with tartar and onion and they were top notch. Our server was the nicest, friendliest young woman. We wanted for nothing. And while we waited for our food, we watched the cars cross the bridge, and boats tooling up and down the river. I wish I could give 10 stars; can’t wait to go back.

Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Food was perfect! Food options for everyone! Service was promt and courteous! Food came quickly as well. My kids had multiple options for the shakes. Prices are very fair. We live an hour away and just happened by this place…we will make the drive to come back!!

First time here. I saw a sign out front showing they have Hunt Brothers Pizza. I saw two more pizza signs in the entryway. Yet, they do not serve pizza! It was nowhere on the 6 page menu. Very disappointing.
So I ordered a $7 cheese burger. No side is included, that’s another $3,75 for fries. Food was ok. Not good, but not bad.
My wife had the patty melt. She said it was a 7 out of 10.
My dad had the catfish sandwich. He did not enjoy it.
Waitress was friendly and prompt. As she handed us the check I asked why they have pizza signs all over but do not serve pizza. To my surprise she said they do serve pizza, but you have to ask for it since it is not listed on the menu. Kind of silly if you ask me.

I have visited this place 2 times. The building is newer so it is bright and clean but that is all it has going for it. On both visits (which were a couple of years apart) they have forgotten to cook one of our meals. And the waitress avoided coming back to our table once the error was realized. We left without getting the food and the staff didn’t seem to be very apologetic or show much concern. Needless to say that there will be no more chances.

I rarely eat at places like this, and I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the fried chicken and the catfish fritters were very good! They were served hot. The meat is juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and has just the right amount of seasoning. The pieces are reasonable and the portions are generous. Service was good, restaurant was full, and the waitress was covering the whole floor. The only drawback is the restaurant temperature is cold.

Food was really good. Service was terrible for our table. Two servers, the other server was super attentive, ours took our order and brought our food, otherwise we had to go seek her out to get anything we needed for our table. Disappointing because we really like to support local.

Don’t go. Have been 3 times and forgotten a person’s whole order 3 times. Screwed up 2 orders we did get. If they know they screw up they avoid your table. Say they will fix it and u wait an hour and still expect you to pay. No. Do yourself a favor and go to mels riverdock down the road. Maybe pricey bit you will get your order.

Home cooked goodness in a jiffy. Requested a quick meal to go, was hungry but had to get home for animals. Within 5 minuets the lady was at the takeout window. I was so surprised at the meal that was put together, packaged securely with napkins and fork. Oh, and it was tasty too. Will be back, so many options to choose from.

This was a fun little place to stop for lunch on our Eagle Watch tour! Food was really fresh and delicious. I had the breaded catfish basket. It came with potato salad and coleslaw, which were both really good and had a homemade feel.
