Tips From A Bellman
Whenever I hit the Carolinas I always have to go to Hardee’s a couple times , usually for breakfast. In Las Vegas we have Carl’s Jr , but it’s not the same and many things on Hardee’s menu are not on Carl’s Jr menu , like the Steak Biscuit and Country Ham Biscuit. We had Biscuits and Gravy for a short time and they removed that too.
Also about a year ago Carl’s Jr removed their 100 percent Angus Burger Patties they used for their Original Thickburgers or previously known as the $6.00 Burger. All of Hardee’s burgers use the Angus Patties. Also Hardee’s still does the Charbroiled Burgers and Carl’s Jr doesn’t. Same company , but different philosophies.
So how did my dinner turn out tonight ? Many times I read bad reviews of Hardee’s restaurants , but have only had one bad experience years ago at one in North Carolina near Asheville. My family and I didn’t eat half of it and threw it away.
Here I was greeted right away and the gentleman was nice and polite. My food came out fresh and hot with a small wait. I ate in the dining room and it was clean and taken care of. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Strip 3 Piece , Double Cheeseburger , Medium Fries and a Dr Pepper. Fries were good , fresh and hot. I saw a few reviews of cold fries. My Chicken Strips were also freshly made , and also my burger. You can definitely taste the difference in Hardee’s Charbroiled Burgers and Carl’s Jr.
Nashville Hot Chicken Strips were pretty good , better than the plain ones. I’ll be back another day for Breakfast Biscuits. I’ve never had the Raisin ones , so I need to try them.

I am a “senior citizen”, who has fond memories of eating at Hardee’s with my parents in my teens. Hamburger, (with those delicious pickles), fries, and milkshake was my favorite. They still have those great sélections. Thanks Hardee’s!

We stopped here twice while in Myrtle Beach. Both times they messed up simple breakfast orders, gave us a non-diet drink when a diet was ordered, and we had to wait over 20 minutes for our orders when there were no other customers.

Great Food and value! I had the breakfast platter which included sausage, eggs, biscuit, gravy, and potatoes. With a coupon the price was only $3.49. It was only 59 cent to add a senior drink. A lot of food that was excellent. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Very well run restaurant. Place your order and they will bring it to the table. Even without a coupon the prices for breakfast items are great. Very competitive with other fast food restaurants. Highly recommend.

This is the second time this has happened: I ordered two biscuits that took 15 minutes (with no other customers) to get out. They put them on the counter and didn’t tell me, so i had to walk up to ask if it was my order. I didn’t get a receipt with my order so I can’t even complain properly. Food service requires basic communication, thanks!

Would give zero stars if a choice. Went in this am, walked to counter and no one acknowledged us at all. Didn’t say they would be with us shortly or anything. We decided to leave and go somewhere else! Don’t stop there, it’s a waste of time!

My wife and I did mobile app orders, drive thru. If you only order fries, I think they should be fresh and hot. These were not. But she ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was very tasty.
