Food and service is great, but their routines change to much. Me and my granddaughter split two platters, she gets the gravy and biscuit i get eggs and ham. One time their putting the gravy in the bowl and then BOOM they slap it on the plate the next. Got to start asking for to go even if it’s not. They made it right but I wished they would have a standard!

This is my go-to place for a quick breakfast. I sometimes order for my husband and take it to him at work since he has to be there early to open. It’s about $20 to $30 to feed 3 people breakfast. I always order platters, the bacon egg and cheese biscuit , and either the smoked sausage, egg & cheese or the porkchop & gravy biscuit. The Hardee’s breakfast platter comes with bacon or sausage (I normally get bacon and it comes with 3 pieces) and I add 1 extra egg (which is about $1 extra). It comes with a good handful of round hashbrowns and 1 biscuit and a small cup of gravy. The platter is so good that I crave it every day. ☺️ Their strawberry lemonade is really good too! I’ve only had 2 issues with ordering that though- where they gave me a different size, but (ever since I starting ordering it) it has always been “one size”. I even asked the gentleman at the drive-thru about it and he said it only comes in one size. Well one morning I was handed a small size, I had asked for a small iced coffee for my daughter and then I ordered the strawberry lemonade. That might have caused the misunderstanding but this was the 1st time I had a mix-up issue at the window. I mentioned it and was told that that was the size I ordered, “A small”, and I told the lady I order a small coffee, not a small lemonade and that I also was not aware the lemonade even came in different size because I was told it was one size (which is a regular sized medium cup) and thats how I’ve always ordered it (without mentioning a size). Fast forward a few weeks later, I continue to order the lemonade from the menu and never specify a size with no issues. One morning, I get to the window and this was my 2nd mix-up because there was a new girl working and she handed me a small. I kindly told her it was the wrong size and she said she didn’t know because she just started there, but she fixed it.
Other than that, when ordering a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit SOMETIMES the biscuit is burnt on the bottom or the biscuit is made smushed/small and the bacon is pure fatty pieces or not cooked long enough so they’re mushy kinda…thankfully I get bacon with my platter and I’m able to give my daughter some of mine for her biscuit…but we don’t check the food at the window. We’re normally in a rush to leave and deliver food to my husband at work.
Aside from the food, if you show up on their delivery day there’s normally a semi truck that’s backed in right next to the drive thru menu and he blocks up the space for people to get around the line of people who are waiting to order. So be cautious of that. There are a couple spots to park on the menu/ordering side and I believe 2 of them are handicap spots, and a handful of other spots to park on the opposite side where the window is.

The Manager at the Forest City location is exceptional he is kind knows his customers, the staff is amazing they take the best care of the clients. I drive 40 min out of my way just to eat at this location. These folks are the best of the best the service is better than any sit down resturaunt I have been to. Thanks for all this group does.

Stopped while traveling. We don’t have Hardee’s where we live anymore. Really wanted a mushroom Swiss burger. They were always my favorite! First thing I noticed was the greasy floor. I almost fell due to slipping on the tile surface. Nasty! We got in line behind the gentleman who was placing his order. Our party of 4 stood there for 5 minutes after he had placed his order and moved to get his drink. The woman who had taken his order ignored us the entire time! Never a greeting, be right with you or even hello. She started to walk away from the counter but then returned and stood not 2 feet from us and picked up a receipt from the counter. She called another worker over to look at it and they both discussed that it would cause the drawer to be off. They finished their conversation and the man walked away. She still stood there ignoring paying customers! I finally had enough and we just left. Not that im likely to return since we were just going thru but if I ever went that way again 10/10 would NOT stop! Not a way to run a business. Very disappointed.

Magical. No joke. We were super hungry after scrounging all day due to the power outage after tropical storm Zeta. Both the food and service at this restaurant were top notch. Give those people a bonus! We ordered the prime rib burgers, fries, and a cheeseburger and cinnamon roll for my granddaughter. The staff was courteous and accomodating, and the wait was not bad even though it was busy.
At the window the cashier was sweet and friendly. We pulled over to the side parking to eat, and the food was hot and fresh. We’d not had the prime rib burgers and it was love at first bite! Juicy and flavorful, it truly delivered. Even the bun was fresh and delicious. And my granddaughter LOVED her cinnamon roll, said it was a 10 out of 10.
Thank you Hardee’s and the crew in FC for being there for us. Our power may still be out but we’ve been warmed and filled. ❤ ❤
