Ordered one biscuit through the app well in advanced to picking up, I get to this location and was pulled to wait, okay fine. The employee then comes out and proceeded to hand me the wrong order. I kindly said mam this is not mine. Had to wait an additional 30 mins because my order was never made. The store was not busy at the time, nor does it take 30 mins to fix a biscuit and put it in a bag. No apology, offer to refund, nothing. Just a have a good day.

Came in and ordered a couple of double meals. When the food came out, they were singles. The staff went back and made us fresh doubles and apologized for the mistake. The burgers were great, good atmosphere, dining room pretty clean.

This had to be the worst service I have ever had in my life. They should at least wait until these people graduate before giving them a job. sat in the drive-through for five minutes. I had to initiate the conversation then to only get one minute is all she said, and I said I just wanted to be acknowledged. I will never return to this parties.

9/25/2025 people at the window are very rude…. very slow with service…..when I did get my food there was a hair in it…I went in to get a different one and the cooks in the back were talking about how they was not making this and not making that when its 11 o’clock in the day they serve breakfast till 12 they were very rude cussing in the back and everything very dissatisfied

Went to Hardee’s in Halifax, Virginia today with my wife and 3 young children around 1:45pm.
We placed our order and sat down. Within just a minute or so heard an employee on the opposite side of the dining room cussing up a storm on her cell phone to whoever she was speaking to. My wife stood up and walked over to her and said “Excuse me, can you take your phone call outside? I have young children, and they don’t need to hear this.” The employee threw her hand up and said “nah”. She then laughed and told the person on the phone there was no problem and continued with her vulgar conversation.
At this point my wife called for the manager and told her what happened. The manager moped her way to the dining room and began to console the employee asking if she was okay. Never once asked her to leave the room, never offered to comp a meal or return our purchase which we had not gotten at this point.
The employee began to tear up and say that my wife and I were harassing her and that she didn’t leave because we didn’t ask nicely. She kept saying “you didn’t know me. I guess that meant she didn’t have to think about her actions. The employee then asked whoever was on the phone to come get her because my wife and I were acting “all crazy”.
Absolutely ridiculous and you can bet that I won’t support that business again.
As a former hiring manager, I hope that Hardee’s takes this encounter seriously and reviews it. If it were my business, I would refer my employee to further training on how to handle this sort of situation properly and I would terminate the employee due to the extent that she went.
Next stop is a letter to their corporate office. I did have the manager reimburse me for my purchase and asked that they cancel my order. No apologies or any sort of remorse other than the employee who took the order, and she had nothing to do with the altercation. She deserves recognition.
