Beautiful space with great ice coffee and pastrami bagel sandwich!
I came into town from Chicago to visit family. I always travel with my dog and even though she’s an ESA I like to call to ask if I can bring her inside.
Staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was nice and calm with great artwork on the walls. We sat by the couch where all the customers were very nice as well. There’s even a nice little park next door that I’ll use when I return in the summer. Cheers!

I would not return. It has a very Portland feel (Oregon). I ordered a butterscotch, caramel latte with oatmilk and the first drink I took made me regret it. It tasted horrible. I could barely taste coffee, it tasted funky, and the aftertaste was a little worrisome. The atmosphere was ok, but seemed a little pretentious. The service was all right, nothing to rave about. And obviously the coffee was less than sub par.

Ordered some take out drip coffee for the office as we had an internet outage. Usually boxed coffee (like from Dublin and Starbucks) sucks…watered down blah. Whatever. I’ve drank better out in a destitute field environment in my days in the army.
BUT THIS HOUSE DRIP COFFEE…my god…..I’m fairly certain the United States military could win a war consuming this coffee alone. Flavor is perfect. Temperature is perfect. Customer service top notch.
Quit doing such a good job you’re making every other coffee company look baseline terrible!!

Great coffee!! We’ve been each day that we’ve been here! We’ve had Oak Milk Lattes and Decaf Cafe au Lait. Both were great. They have a fun vibe, lots of tables and great music. I watched a constant stream of people ordering coffees, frappes, smoothies and getting a cookie or nibble. It’s a great stop for coffee in Ashtabula!

I’m always looking for new coffee shops to try & I found a pretty cool one in Ashtabula, Ohio. The Harbor Perk was recommended to me, so on a lazy Sunday morning, I traveled out to visit. Easy drive out, easy to find & found a parking spot pretty quick. I walked in and was greeted by the smell of freshly ground coffee, the staff greeted me warmly as well. I’m a big fan of mocha lattes currently, so that’s what I ordered. I then looked at my seating options, it appeared that tables were the best option. A few minutes later my name was called and my beverage was ready. I must say it was nice & hot, a nice foam on top & very yummy. 16 ounces of delicious mocha goodness. The decor was very done, definitely had a quaint coffee cafè feel. Also there was a small gift shop area where they had a myriad of things to commemorate your visit. They also had two large coffee bean grinders, absolutely loved that. They did have pastries & other food offerings, next time I go I will definitely get something to eat. The atmosphere & vibe was super chill & peaceful. I truly enjoyed my coffee as well as my time there. You would definitely go & get yourself a coffee from this wonderful establishment.

I was in Ashtabula for work, I happened to visit this coffee shop and it immediately became my favorite. The coffee shop has a very cool interior and cozy atmosphere. The taste of the coffee depends on which of the staff made it, but it is always very tasty. Here you can also buy different flavors of ground coffee to take home. The coffee shop always has many visitors, which speaks of its popularity!

Harbor Perk is an absolute gem. They have some of the best coffee anywhere – and I currently live in San Francisco, the land of coffee fans.
As locals know, they roast the coffee beans right there. The baristas very knowledgeable and friendly. If you love coffee, do not miss this place!
Tip: Order a dry cappuccino, small cup. Not many coffee shops can make this correctly. Harbor Perk does it perfectly.

Overall Harbor perk is a cute place. They have many different flavors to choose from for specialty coffee and their roasts are good! Outside of the coffee I wouldn’t go for anything else. There is no kitchen so they only offer bagels with cream cheese, lox, and avocado. But these sandwiches are way overpriced. For example a small everything bagel with a half an avocado, that’s it, for $9. The people that work there are very friendly and will answer any questions you have. Go for the atmosphere and coffee.

The service was great, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the coffee. I had a cappuccino while my husband ordered a latte. They only offer 2% milk, which gave the coffee a thinner, more watery taste. If you’re a fan of creamy lattes, you might want to consider skipping this place or opting for a breve (which is made with half and half) instead.ider skipping this place or opting for a breve (which is made with half and half) instead.
