This is a mixed review, so please read it all. We had dinner in the restaurant and ordered 4 dishes. We enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and the Chinese broccoli dishes. However, the mandarin string beans and the Beef brisket with rice noodles were disappointing. The meat sauce with the string beans didn’t taste that well. In the noodle dish, the brisket was quite fatty and the noodles came just as an unmixed pile, clinging together. The tea and the rice were very good. The service was good.
However, the restaurant was very noisy with the kitchen and staff being the source.
If you are getting takeout and selecting your menu items, you should be pleased. I would only recommend the restaurant for takeout due to the ambiance/noise in the restaurant.

We had a rough weekend of trying to find a comforting meal. We were working in Gig Harbor and craved dim sum and found this restaurant.
We ordered a plethora of dishes. We had hot tea to start. We ordered the shrimp har gow, shu mai, shrimp and chives dumpling, chicken feet, beef tendon, beef and onion and ginger stir fry, garlic green beans, and the beef chow fun as well as a rice. The chicken feet were delicious, tender and fatty, fell off the bone. As well as the beef tendon, very tender . Paired with the fresh rice , it was comfort. Our favorite is the shrimp har gow and shu mai. Flavorful yet simple. The green beans is also one of our favorites, nice and crispy covered in garlic. The beef stir fry was tender and hefty. The noodles were soft.
It was great to be able to order from scanning a QR code . It gave us time to review the menu and select which ones we wanted to order. We ordered way too much food, but we’re glad we have leftovers. Everything was just under $100 for the whole meal. This was a meal worth the price , we can’t wait to come back soon.

I was a a big fan of Harbor City in International District and when they closed I immediately planned to go to the one in Tacoma. I recognized two who were at the old location in Seattle. No char siu or bbq pork here. The dimsum was not the best but then again, I can not help but compare. I don’t plan on going back. Planning on finding another dimsum place in Int’l District instead.

Good dim sum. We were there on Sunday at about 3 pm. It was super busy, but they quickly got us a table, and the food was very good and reasonably priced.

10/10 would recommend this place. Its clean and modern (they have a digital menu). BUT the FOOD. The food is AMAZING. I’ve been looking for salt and pepper chicken for so long in this area. The salt and pepper chicken are huge and so delicious. The prices here are the best part. The prices are so good for the value you get. You can order multiple things, like we ordered 5 things and it was under $50. I love this place and hope they get all the business they deserve.

Local Chinese food restaurant. The food was delicious, every dish was very tasty and nice size portions. We were not given menu upon being seated, there are barcodes on each table to scan for menu options and ordering food. Overall, I would good back!

First time sitting down to eat here (had take out once before). I had Honey Walnut Prawns and my husband had Chow Fun and both were phenomenonal. I love their serving set up. You scan a QR code with your table # and order from the app. The food comes out straight from the kitchen to your table steaming hot. Very efficient. Loved it. The only downside is that it’s not a very nice building or atmosphere. They should spruce it up with some paint. Minor detail when the food is so good
OH and I must say the prices are unbelievably good. I have become so used to $17 per dish everywhere I go that this was a really great value.

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in years. It was my first time there. We ordered 5 different things to share between 3 of us, and it was enough food to fill us up and still have some leftover in the end.
It seems to be mom and pop owned, and the staff was really nice. There was a good flow of customers that continued to come in while we were there. I’ll be back soon for sure.
