Love the coffee at this spot—easily one of the best in the NOVA area. I’ve tried the Habibi latte (Biscoff flavor) and the pistachio latte, and both were incredible and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet at all. The pistachio latte especially stands out: super flavorful without tasting artificial. They use real pistachio sauce, and it’s so good. However, the drinks are very expensive, so it’s good for a once in a while treat.

The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable—they do a great job explaining their coffee options and pastries.

My only drawbacks are the atmosphere. The shop can be fairly loud, and it’s noticeably cold inside—I wish they’d turn up the heat to make it more comfortable. The seating up front also isn’t the most comfortable and feels a bit canteen-like.

That said, I’d absolutely come back for the coffee alone.

I had a really great experience at Haraz Café. It’s such a lovely place with a beautiful vibe. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and just a great spot to sit down, enjoy good coffee, and take in the moment.

I also want to shout out Lola who took my order. She has such a beautiful energy and was so kind and welcoming. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and she made the whole experience even better. Lola is amazing ❤️

I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a nice place with good vibes and great service, this is the spot. You should try the Adeni / Karak Chai

I am eager to see another Haraz location opened up in Maryland! Lots of fun options for drinks. Also many pastries and sweet treats to choose from! The smell of cardamom and warm spices hits you when you walk in. I got the Adeni Chai and Bee Bite. We also tried a pistachio cake (I forgot the specific name). Everything was lovely! The staff are very friendly and service was quick and attentive. The seats are comfortable, decorations are intentional and beautiful. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of the coffee and other pastries.

Update, The redo on the order was a lot better. The waittime was 1hour to order and 20minutes to get the food.

I went to Haraz Coffee House tonight and was honestly really disappointed. It was very busy, which I expected, so I waited about 30–40 minutes in line. After ordering, I waited another 15 minutes for my drink and honeycomb bread. I understand that busy nights happen, but the service was frustrating.

While waiting, I overheard a couple of the baristas complaining about a customer who had been waiting and sounding annoyed about making their order. Hearing staff speak negatively about customers within earshot felt unprofessional.

I ordered a mango matcha latte with coconut milk, light ice, and a little extra mango. I watched it being made and saw whole milk used instead of coconut milk. When my husband asked for extra mango, the response was sarcastic. They also didn’t do light ice — it was filled with ice. The drink ended up tasting very bitter, mostly like matcha, with barely any mango flavor. It honestly wasn’t worth the wait or the price. The matcha tasted low quality and overpowering, with no balance.

On top of that, I asked for the honey to be on the side with the honeycomb bread, but it was poured on top anyway. When I got home and opened the box, the bread didn’t look fresh or properly presented. It looked uneven and messy, which added to the disappointment. I understand that places get busy, but attention to detail and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t reflect that.

Plenty of snacks, all good variety of teas and coffee. Honeycomb bread was too good. Sitting are was very congested and we had to wait for about an hour as it was a weekend.

The coffee is exceptional, organic, rich, and full of flavor. Another huge plus is that the bakery is completely halal, offering some delicious treats that pair perfectly with the drinks.

I stopped in for a salted caramel latte with oat milk, and it was such a treat. The presentation was beautiful—one of those drinks that looks as good as it tastes. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I asked the server for his name, Raheem made my latte and was incredibly pleasant throughout the whole interaction. Great service and an even better drink. I’ll definitely be back.
