Though no one answered the phone — we went in and made a takeout order. The wait, while the food was cooked, was short. The food was plated and packaged nicely! Everything was flavorful. We enjoyed the taste of clean deep fryer oil on the tempura batter, egg rolls and chicken wings.

Ordered two of the lunch specials for takeout, I was pretty impressed with how good the meals are for under $10! Only complaint is that the pork fired rice wasn’t great, but the main part of the specials more than makes up for it. Will definitely be stopping here again!

Service was pretty good. We ordered the sesame chicken and it was about 95% mushy breading soaked in sauce and what chicken was in there was tiny little pieces. Lo mein and wontons were good. Just disappointed with the sesame “chicken”.

The owners are very nice and work hard. All the food is cooked to order so it’s always hot and fresh. You can stand there and watch them cook if you want. It’s kind of nice to see the whole family working together. You don’t see that much anymore.

I love the general Tahoe’s children! OMG so good the best! The best sauce! Kids also love the shrimp and chicken fried rice. The crab wontons are are one of our favorites too! Fast friendly service and excellent tasting meals. We have ordered out family dinners from there for years now. The kids always ask when we are getting take out, if they can get happy wok. We have NEVER not had a wonderful tasting dinner from there.

Don’t get the black pepper chicken unless you want a pound of badly seasoned cut onions. Barely any chicken & what there was, tasted terrible. My boyfriend got general tao chicken and that was also very disappointing. We threw away all the food within minutes. Very sad. I would save the trip and get takeout from the buffet in rice lake.

I have been ordering food here for 15 years. Can’t tell you how many times they screwed up my take out order. This last time ordered $80 worth of food and they forgot part of the meal again so they said they would credit me on next order. I called to place another order a couple weeks later and they would not replace the two meals they screwed up just part of it. They accused me of trying to get free food. She argued with me on the phone and then I said I had enough and will never order from them again. Five minutes later she tried calling me back but I did not answer. Poor service.
