First time visit at lunch. Specials were less than $10. The food was great – sweet and sour and orange chickens were huge nuggets not over breaded and a plate full, fried rice was good and the egg roll was super crunchy and tasty.

The windows are shaded so when you drive up at night it looks closed. You first walk in and it looks like a carryout restaurant but there are tables and a half dozen booths. The service was very friendly, attentive and prompt. The menu has a fairly wide range of selections with some creative house specials like cumin beef, pineapple shrimp along with the standard (American) Chinese restaurant fare. I got the egg roll and it was tasty but fairly small. I also got the cumin beef. The cuts of beef we’re very tender, juicy and flavorful. There was no fat or anything chewy or stringy in any bite. The temperature of the food was perfect. Nothing scalding or lukewarm. But this was hot without any burns. The pricing was on par. I had hot tea, an egg roll and a beef entree and it was under $25. And I should mention the fortune cookie was not stale. I would definitely come back.

I eat here pretty regularly. Always hits the spot. Thai Chicken Curry and a Thai Boba Tea can’t be beat. The Pineapple Shrimp is also very delicious. Portion sizes are big and service is great. Highly recommend.

I’ve never actually been IN Happy Wok. However, shortly after my wife and I moved to Trussville in 2019, Covid hit. During the “great economic shutdown”, we decided to start supporting local restaurants by ordering delivery at least once a week. While we live at the complete opposite end of town (Camp Coleman Rd), EVERY time we order Happy Wok (delivery by Trussville to Go), it arrives fast and PIPING HOT! Highly Recommend!!!!!!

It was a nice experience, Martin the shift leader was very helpful, respectful, and friendly as well as the server.
The dumplings and the triple delight dish were fresh, and taste good.
The place was clean and the smell was refreshing.

Better than your typical strip mall Chinese food joint. When dining in the portions are really good big enough to share. My wife and I got two entrees and shared each other’s dood. I had something with shrimp and it was delicious and did not have that seafood taste that overpowers everything. My wife got the orange chicken and it came out crispy and not soggy

This place is great my family and I love it. The orange chicken is so authentic with orange peels and the Mongolian beef although I didn’t get a picture is great as well. I would say the crab ragoon the flavor is great just wish it was stuffed more.

We went in and ordered beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and spring rolls we got our food and it was poor quality and the beef and broccoli tasted like sea food and straight garlic .I ask the older woman who was our server, she tried to ask what was wrong with it till a male employee stopped her and lost it on us telling us to get out and throwing his hands up and trying to push us out while yelling at us to get out and proceed to shut the door in our face. The man was very unprofessional and handled that completely wrong, definitely will not be returning after this experience.

I ordered the shrimp and broccoli off the lunch menu. I opened my container to check my food. I had almost a cup 1/2 of rice and a teaspoon of sauce. I asked the guy at the register could I have more sauce? He said no it would waste in my bag. So now I’m having to eat dry rice with no sauce. I will not be back the guy was very rude!
