New to the area and trying to find ‘the’ Chinese restaurant can be a task. The reviews here definitely did not help. I ordered twice from here, called in and in person. Both encounters were okay. The food was good. Chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. I’ll get it again. The 2nd time wasn’t for me, but there weren’t any complaints about it: shrimp fried rice and chicken and broccoli combo.

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Savannah 15 years ago. There are very very few Chinese restaurants in the area that I consider good. We found Happy Wok about a 6 months ago when one of our favorites no longer made great food. We love this place! The food is always excellent, the staff is always nice. It’s great to have awesome Chinese so close to home! The Bone in Spare Ribs are killer, I just wish their boneless had the same flavor. The vegetable fried rice is my absolute favorite!

I am giving 5 stars across the board because this was the only place open on Wednesday night after the snow storm on GA-21 off icy I95 exit. There are atleast 7 hotels that were packed and everything (including Wendy’s , McDonald’s, BK, Taco Bell, Zaxby’s , Bojangles, Waffle House, Agave , and any other place to eat was completely shut down) THANK YOU HAPPY WOK !!!
I got sesame chicken , fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and all was delicious!! Highly recommend! Being from NY I couldn’t believe how much was shutdown so happy to see their sign say New York Style Take Out Restaurant.

I moved here from up North thinking I’d find lots of good food but to my surprise good food spots are far and few. This place is one of the few! They are never rude when taking phone orders. Food hot and ready in no time. Just wish they stayed open a bit longer on weekends but I’ll take what I can get! I almost always order shrimp egg foo young and wings. They give you whole wings. Hoping they add a few more wing flavors like hot honey and old bay…10/10!

Bad customer service. I waited until she got off the phone I then kindly proceeded to place an order after she got off the phone I was done with the first item (the phone rang again) she picked it up and told me to wait.Then I did wait and she started taking the phone order and completely ignored me and took the next phone call/order. (Mind you I’m still standing there ) wondering if she’s going to take my order.She doesn’t and then another person walked in so the people in the back hear the door chime and some other lady walks up picks up the phone and I’m still waiting there trying to place the order. BTW this order wasn’t for me it had to be placed for Uber eats so I would’ve walked out if it was my family wanting for from this place.

Worst dumpling ever they had to be frozen premade dumplings don’t know what was in them but it definitely was not meat. The chicken and broccoli were even worse the broccoli was soggy and the chicken was a saved mess. Never again will I return

Decent food. Not the best but it will do for the area since there seem to be no good Chinese Restaurants around. Pretty clean inside and out. Food was ready really fast and there was no wait. Small seating area for dine in that looked clean as well. I would return to eat again

It’s pretty great!! Food is great and fast. The staff isn’t that friendly but I didn’t mind, because of the good food. The place reminds me of a hometown hangout spot, but isn’t as packed. Hidden gem.

This place is very busy. Don’t let the EMPTY store fool you. I walked in and and order to go. The phone was ringing off the hook. Looks like most folks call it in and pick it up. Had to wait for awhile but food was hot and fresh and correct the first time.
