The chicken is tender and perfectly cooked. The happy shrimp was really good. I would recommend this place.
When I brought the food back in person, she refunded me, but never apologized and acted like they didn’t even believe me (I even showed her the picture of the specific piece). Between being served unsafe food and the lack of basic customer service, I won’t be returning.
This place highly exceeded my expectations, whenever I got the Generals Tso’s chicken and the ex-husband roll I was completely and utterly mind blown.
It was so good that I had to come back a few days later and got the spicy bulgogi and the ex-wife roll.
Both times the food was absolutely spectacular and I extremely recommend this place to anyone that wants good quality food at affordable price.
All of the food we ordered was served fast and it was delicious. We came as a group and it was our first time. So we all tried each others food. I really liked my egg rolls and veggie tempura mix. It was nice and crispy and hot!
Service was friendly and food came right away in the order it was placed. Our server was very accommodating. One person in our group did not like the drink she ordered so it was replaced with what she liked free of charge (Kudos to that)!
I thought it was a bit darker inside than it should have been but maybe that’s the type of lighting they wanted it to be…. I don’t know. Maybe it was where we were sitting.
From the outside, the restaurant appeared unassuming, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and inviting dining area. Opting to order online, the process was seamless, and my order was promptly prepared.
The highlight of my meal was the Spicy Chicken dish, which truly stood out. The chicken was tender, bathed in a flavorful sauce with just the right level of spiciness. Alongside the chicken, I enjoyed the perfectly stir-fried vegetables and a generous portion of white steamed rice.
To be on the safe side, I also ordered vegetable egg rolls on the side. Served hot and crispy, these delectable rolls had a subtle flavor but overall nothing remarkable.
The portion sizes were more than generous, and I ended up with enough leftovers for a couple of additional meals. Thankfully, my hotel room had a refrigerator, so I could enjoy the deliciousness again later.
In conclusion, Happy Teriyaki turned out to be a delightful find, tucked away in an unexpected location. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The Spicy Chicken was a definite winner, and the overall experience was a pleasant surprise.
We got the bento boxes with sushi. We felt the portion size was adequate for the price we paid. We were surprised by the tax rate at over 10%. Of course, the business cannot control this.
Our food was fresh and the tempura was crisp (could have been fried longer for a darker color?). The only issue we found was that the chicken katsu was overcooked and dry.
