Being out of town we were excited to get a Giovanni’s pizza and they did not disappoint!

The best sausage and delicious dough, sauce that is perfection-

The lady who assisted us checkout was super friendly and invited us to come back and enjoy their lunch buffet –

Spectacular anniversary pricing with really nice add on options – Snyder’s chips – yum!

I called to complain about too much sauce on my pizza when I ordered it online, I hit the lite sauce button on the drop down menu. The manager, the guy who was making energy excuse under the sun about why, I told him, I pay for this pizza and expect it the way I want. The guy in front of me had pie cut when he asked for square cut! He asked the guy if they Eben looked at the tickets. The manager guy was getting upset with me. I told him that’s fine, I’ll get my pizza somewhere else from now on.
Evidently he is not a good people person or manager. Didn’t even apologize for the mistake.

Recently returned to Ashland to visit family and had to get pizza from Giovanni’s. This location seems to have the best in Ashland. It was just as I remember it being. Their pizza was amazing and so was the service.

I paid $75 for what is likely the worst pizza and wings I have ever had in my life. The food took forever to be delivered, was barely warm on the bottom when I got it, there was absolutely no pizza sauce on the pizza and the toppings were sparse. The Buffalo wings were yellow and not buffalo. Silly me, I was hoping things might have improved but no they got worse.

This Giovanni’s restaurant is closest to my home, so it’s my usual choice for ordering, but I’m considering stopping. I feel the staff lacks proper training in preparing the dishes, or perhaps they simply don’t care. The pizza routinely has excessive cheese and sauce. When you request a light serving of these, they almost disappear.

Last night, we ordered a party special with a 19-inch pepperoni pizza, two orders of cheese sticks, a Big Red sandwich, and a cookie. While the cookie and cheese sticks were acceptable, the pizza was overladen with sauce and cheese. The sandwich, which was supposed to be a Big Red, turned out to be an Italian.

I called the store and asked for a Big Red replacement, which they prepared. After picking it up and returning home, I discovered the sandwich lacked the Red sauce, the integral component that makes a Big Red. Additionally, they didn’t remake the fries. Although there was nothing inherently wrong with the fries, they had turned cold by the time I got back home from the store, so I would have appreciated a fresh batch.

I’m tired of spending a significant amount on Giovanni’s, which isn’t cheap, only to receive subpar food. If you plan to visit a Giovanni’s, I recommend trying another location, such as the one on Greenup Avenue.

The antipasto salad was one of the best I’ve had from any Giovanni’s in the area. Just the right balance of lettuce & toppings.

I should’ve known as soon as I got there to walk back out when the young kid who took my order acted like it was a task to make me a cheese pizza. Everything was cold or burnt and all the employees were sitting on their phones, laughing and talking. As I waited for my food for 45 minutes, they finally decided to make a pizza and sandwich once 5 construction men came in. Then we all waited around to see if any more food was going to come out. after they just put out 1 pizza… and complained about having to do that.

Oh, let’s not forget that the employees complained when the construction workers had to leave. They had to go back to work after they paid $12 each for half a meal, just like I did. They didn’t have time to sit and wait like we did to see if the employees would take advantage of them.
