Place gave me food poisoning a year ago. Thought I would give it another try. Never again will they get my business, food cold, greasy family couldn’t eat it. Threw away all except crab Rangoon. Will make drive to Whitehall, ny before we eat there again!

I would give this place negative Stars if able I’ve never had to complain about anything ever when it comes to going out to eat I have been waitingfor that Ticonderoga Chinese restaurant to reopen from their so-called vacation I excitedly ordered the orange chicken and in general tso’s chicken my very first bite I almost threw up I got a mouthful of what felt like snot thick nasty snot as if they have left their marinade to their chicken out to solidify the entire time they were closed the broccoli looks like it is rotten the food smells like it’s gone bad I would not feed this food to my worst enemy or to a starving animal I have never experienced anything so absolutely disgusting in my entire life and when I called to voice my concerns about the quality of their food I was met with absolute rudeness and I quote the orange chicken is supposed to be jellied I don’t know about all of you but I have ate at many Chinese restaurants and get these chicken dishes many many times never have I bitten into a wad of snot like jelly the size of a 50-cent piece could not even finish the first bite a waste of $40 in food please for your own safety and well-being do not eat here I will be going back first thing in the morning to show them firsthand how disgusting this was the health department needs to close this place down as upsetting as that is for me to say cuz I absolutely love Chinese food I will never eat in this place again I don’t care if I have to travel 100 miles to find another restaurant never again why step foot in this nasty nasty place Happy Star or like death star again I beg you for your own health do not eat here!!!!!!!!!!

We have stayed clear of this establishment for over a year after a previous experience. Tonight after the establishment reopening after a vacation we thought it fit to give them another shot. WOW what a mistake the chicken from the orange and general Tso chicken was covered in a thick gelatin like mass the broccoli obviously well past fresh and all together deplorable. The state health department should really take a look into this Ill managed and and obviously grossly negligent towards human health poor excuae of a restaurant.

I never leave reviews especially bad ones but I’ve never had to throw out my whole $20 meal because it was nasty. Seriously, save your money!!

The food was fresh and flavorful, while the wait time and price being a minor issues I’d still say its worth it to give it a try if you aren’t in any rush and willing to pay an extra bucks for it

Not too many Chinese Food spots that we have found while we are up camping. But this one tends to be our rainy day secret hide out. The kids can get some fun food and we can sit and enjoy for awhile

I didn’t necessarily expect much of a Chinese restaurant in the Adirondacks, but I was pleasantly surprised by Happy Star. It is best to order food as take-out, since the restaurant space itself is small. Delicious and cheap to satisfy your cravings!

Stopped in on vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was more or less the same Chinese food you would get anywhere else. The wonton soup was nice to have on a rainy day.
