I don’t appreciate the restaurant’s response to my review stating “this is not Happy & More.” One of my photos clearly shows the front sign. You may disagree with my review, but that one-line reply is simply incorrect.

Set in the middle of a quaint little town, this café seems to be the breakfast stop — and naturally, we followed the crowd. The space is cute, with a small souvenir shop tucked inside, giving it that “local charm” feel. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match the name.
Service leaned toward… un-happy. A touch of rudeness here, a lack of warmth there, and the “no refills for regular coffee” policy felt a little stingy for a place serving simple breakfast fare. Speaking of simple — eggs and bacon shouldn’t take a small eternity, yet there we were, waiting and waiting.
Overall: adorable setting, but a bit overrated. Cute café, just be prepared to exercise your patience — and maybe bring backup caffeine. ☕ ⏳

As we travel about the country, we try to find great bakeries on a quest to find The Best Cinnamon Roll. When I mentioned this to the owner of Happy and More, her response was “Bring it”!
She offered to warm it up and explained it would take about 5 minutes because her cinnamon rolls do NOT go in a microwave. She then presented me with the biggest cinnamon roll I’ve ever seen! Everything in this roll was homemade, including the brown sugar and spices. Was it the best we’ve ever had? I have to say it was!

Funky, fun, friendly and delicious. Eclectic atmosphere. We arrived about 8:45 on a Saturday during the Leaf Peepers festival. Ordered at the counter and chatted with the delightful and friendly owner. We shared a cinnamon bun that was the size of a dinner plate. I had a biscuit sandwich with ham, egg and cheese that was big, tender and delicious. Husband had a sausage breakfast sandwich on sourdough and loved it. When our food came there was quite a line. Worth the wait if there is one. Delightful!

This place checked every box. Small town feels, warm and friendly, outstanding coffee, and unbelievable food. Eat the cinnamon roll, it is large and worth every penny. Their omelettes are great too. Sit and enjoy this cozy little spot with some of the sweetest staff and you won’t be sorry. Quoth the raven, happy and more!!! Definitely sharing their special happy place and their talents with all of us. Highly recommend
