We stopped in for lunch and it was our first time here. We were seated right away and our server came to our table promptly. Chips and salsa were also brought to the table. When our food arrived, it was hot and had a great presentation. My steak chimichonga was delicious. It came with rice and beans which were also tasty! Sometimes in Mexican restaurants the rice and beans are fairly tasteless but these were good. My husband ordered the fajita steak enchiladas and he really enjoyed them. They had a red sauce on one end, and green on the other. He said it was nice to have two completely different tastes! The inside of the restaurant is cute, but nothing special. Overall we enjoyed our food and would go back again if we are in the area! Give them a try!

We found pink/red hair in our food…our server (short/mid-sized waitress/hostess with pink hair). After notifying her of what we found, she took her right hand, picked the hair out of the food, balled it up, put it in her pocket and asked what hair and where did you find it? She specifically asked if we found the hair in our food or in our plate…this was the worst possible experience ever. What’s even more unprofessional is that we were treated so unfairly. For an employee to pick hair out of a customers’ food and put it in her pocket and say “what hair? I asked for another server, and I was not assisted. I’m so disappointed in Happy Mexican because I have always eaten here…2/3 times a week. We came as a family to spend time together…because we recently lost our father…and found out today that my brother received some bad news ax well…. Customer service means everything to me. Good food…my experience today was not.

Food is always great here. I hate that they reserve a card from parties over 4 to ensure no “dine & dashes” occur. It’s sad that they have to resort to that; people can really mess things up! So be warned if you’re bringing large group. Nonetheless, food is always great. The staff is patient & helpful. If there is any mistake by the kitchen, it’s rectified immediately. They offer lunch specials. Kid-friendly. Good place. Overly packed on Sundays after 2!

The weather was amazing and I took my cousin up on her offer to go and sit on the patio to enjoy. Wow. I hadn’t been out socially in awhile. I’m normally alone. The environment was welcoming and the food was to die for. Adult like conversation, no judging, people talking to everyone in sight, laughter, flirting, drinks, food, and fun….gotta be open to just enjoying. A patron nearby suggested I try the Margarita special with shrimp, chicken, and steak. It didn’t disappoint. See below. I ate every bite then I decided to take a drink. Wow. A great outing. Once we got there we got seated right away! Our waiter was very nice and our food came very fast about 10 mins after we ordered it. Food was very delicious and fresh! Would definitely recommend and be back!

Once again I am not the biggest Mexican or Italian food fan, but Lacey deserves to eat this food and today we did. I was bad and had a veggie chimichanga that came with rice and beans with lettuce guacamole and fixings. Lacey got a taco salad, both were good and the portions were very large. I could not eat all of my choice for sure. I thought it was a pretty decent choice and the place was welcoming. If I were having Mexican again I would try this place one more time for sure.
