We ordered a medium pizza took 45 minutes we are understanding of short staff but when my husband got home with the pizza I lifted the lid and edges were all bubbled up and burnt around edges. We ate what we could we were hungry. I called the manager to explain our situation and he sat in silence I said hello and he asked if we wanted another one to be delivered would take another 45 minutes! I said no we will never order again

We were here today and yesterday from out of town (SC), and had super good food and excellent service. This is one of those places families go to for every special occasion. They bring friends and family that visit. I highly recommend the taco pizza. I ate so much, I could hardly walk. We ate in the restaurant last night and had good, well informed service. Refills kept moving without asking. Today, we used the room with a group of about 30. The hot plate counter kept all pizza hot and staff kept our tables clean. Super good place to go. I strongly recommend it and wish we had one in SC. If they ever want one there, I am willing to open it!

We always eat on the grill 350 side and have never been disappointed! The service is good staff is very friendly and the drinks are always great! My daughter has food allergies and they have always taken great care to ensure that the kitchen knows exactly what needs to be done to ensure her safety even when that means making it themselves ( because yes that has happened (brand new cook unfamiliar with Celiac protocol)and that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for us at a restaurant ever! )

We walked in and wondered if we were to sit ourselves or just walked up to order. After figuring that out and ordering we noticed how dirty the place was. The windows on the doors were beyond disgusting. The bathrooms had now paper towels. Staff was just sitting around on their phones and or in the arcade. We were the only people in the place.

I give it 2 stars because the one of the workers was very pleasant and seemed to care. He asked if we would like them to sing my daughter Happy Birthday. The others would not join in helping him sing. Just this pleasant, young and red hair kid did all by himself. Never will we return.

Happy Joe’s Pizza is not what it use to be. Seems like they are going away from family friendly and going to corporate robots. The management here is rude we waited for over a hour for two pizzas. When we asked about what was taking so long we we’re told it would be done when it gets done. I will not be giving my money to this company in the future it’s too bad I enjoyed coming here but after how management treated us I will go else where especially somewhere that wants my business.

I’ve not review this place because the first visits were so awful. I truly believed that I had to be catching them on a bad night. But after my third visit I realized that they are incompetent. Every meal was stingy in it’s portion size to the point of being ridiculous. When you order a cob salad for 9 dollars you expect more than half a bag of iceberg lettuce and a few tablespoons of bacon, blue cheese and half a book egg. The Asian salad was even more ridiculous. 9dollars plus nearly 2 dollars extra for a third of a chicken breast. Which came after the salad and was cold. Waiters are consistently unresponsive and let you know that you can’t leave fast enough for them.
I gave this place more than a fair chance but really I am totally disgusted with the place.
Your much better off going to the Village Inn down Hwy 61 in Davenport. At very least you won’t walk away hungry and angry.

Although we had a long wait for our food, when we asked for a manager one was immediately available. She took a lot of time to listen to our concerns and ask how she could make things right for us. She was also very knowledgeable about other happy joes locations, we were from out of town, in our area. The business is going under a restructuring, we would definitely go back.

Horrible service. I called on Thursday to make a reservation for 15-20 people for Sunday at 5:30. When we arrived there were maybe 3 or 4 booths taken. No tables OR servers ready for our group. Staff hardly even acknowledged us. One girl pulled a couple tables together after I asked if we could get someone to wait on us. We had to get our own menus, drinks, etc. After a good 25-30 minutes of all of us there someone finally came over for drink orders… that took awhile, then finally back for food orders. Appetizers were brought out with or after food. One a wrong order. And of course a small little joe pizza for a child was not entered in so a little one waited even longer to receive his little joe cheese pizza. Overall it was a terrible experience for all 20+ of us who visited for some birthday celebrations.
**I do realized that it’s not the staff/cooks who were working with us fault if they weren’t aware we were coming as I was told they didn’t know from the “upper ” but if there was any management working last night a simple explanation or visit over to our table to show any sort of apology would have made this bad situation a little better.

Me and two other people went here around 12 on a thursday and there was only one person working as a waitress and a hostess. We had to wait about 5 minutes before she even noticed us and seated us, then probably another 10-15 minutes before she came to take our drink orders. after we ordered our drinks she never came back to our table, but she was sitting at another table talking to people there even though she hadn’t even taken our order. eventually we just got up and left because we didn’t have time to wait there that long. I definitely will not be returning.

Came here during the week for a business lunch. There was one waitress for the entire dining area. She was doing her best but clearly one person was not enough. I even watched one couple come in, get tired of waiting to be waited on and left. Food was fine but the lack of service overshadowed the food. Get that lady some help.
