Don’t do It!
For a place that claims to sell “Texas bbq” it’s the farthest thing from good tx bbq I have ever had or even made (true Texan here). Great staff but crappy over priced food. Soggy, over cooked, good spiciness level but no seasoning. Seems like these guys are smoking from a book instead of from the soul. And that book was probably written by a Canadian or someone from the uk who’s never had any kind of smoked meats. Only thing halfway decent that I had was the fries. Was pretty impressed that a place could screw up potato salad even.

The positives first:
*Very Friendly staff
*Amazing Atmosphere
*Very Clean
*Decent Variety.
Now the downsides:
*Somewhat small portions, not awful, just definitely feels like you got cheated for the price
*Hilariously Expensive
*Sub-par BBQ (just get a pre seasoned rack of ribs at Walmart and it tastes better and is cheaper)
The BBQ has a great amount of heat, perfectly spicy, but tastes pretty bland overall.

They have GF buns. The BBQ is super affordable and some of the best I have had in CO.
Personally thought the brisket rub was good. It could even be hotter for my taste, but I do understand some people may not like that level of spice.
The ribs are an amazing price and perfectly cooked. I don’t think I can get 6 bones anywhere for that price.

My first time at Happy Jacks today and I was thoroughly impressed by the service, atmosphere, and the food. I had the burnt ends and brisket and both were delicious. Briskets isn’t easy to get right on the smoker, but they nailed it! I highly recommend Happy Jacks BBQ.

The food here was very very good! Better than many Texas joints, fantastic ribs, delicious brisket, and the candied pork ice cream is a great finisher. Don’t sleep on this great place!

We had Happy Jacks BQQ cater for our wedding day and they did an amazing job! They showed up on time, helped serve the food, and the food was absolutely amazing. We got tons of compliments from our guests about how good the sliced brisket was and the Mac n cheese was creamy and not dry at all. We would highly recommend them for any catering needs or just stopping by their location for some awesome food.
