Basically an average barbecue place. Pulled pork sandwich needed a lot of sauce and some vinegar in order to have flavor. Brunswick stew was extremely thin. It had a decent taste though. My wife got a salad with some barbecue chicken put on top for $13? She had to put ranch and some barbecue sauce on it to spice it up.
I’m glad we gave it a try, but unfortunately, barbecue joints are everywhere. I will check this one off the list.

I have to say, I was surprised based on the reviews. All the food was good and the service was great. First time customers get free banana pudding and it was delicious! I always get on my wife about going to a BBQ joint and ordering fish. It’s like going out for mexican food and ordering a burger but this time, it was the best tasting Catfish that I have had in a long time and we are born and raised in South. They even have All you can eat Catfish every Tuesday. Thanks guys and we will be back!

Happy Hawg BBQ in Hiram is a must-visit for anyone who loves real, authentic barbecue. Everything we tried was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care — especially the brisket and baked beans. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Our server Elena was amazing super friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. She truly went above and beyond.

Never disappointed when my family eats here! Never a long wait time. Staff is super welcoming and quick, and the owner is great! I’ve never had anything bad to eat here. The food is always good! The country fried steak plate, and hickory fries are my two fave’s!

Good old Georgia barbecue. Everything was hot and tasty. What I like is that the sandwich is not served with any sauce on it. It allows you to pick your sauce and the amount you want on it.

Ever since our favorite BBQ place shut down, I was on the hunt for a new one. We tried it for the first time and I couldn’t complain at all. Everything was very good and delicious. Staff was super nice and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be coming back.

The was delicious and I had more than enough. The staff was amazing from the time we walked in. Food seems very fresh with a hot like cook to order freshness. I had to double back an get another batch. Lol love the food I’m on my way back again

Asked for just butter, cheese, and chives on my baked potato and instead got a baked potato covered in melted cheese and that’s it.
Wife asked them to put the lemon pepper seasoning on the side for our daughter’s chicken so we could see if she liked it first. Instead they put it directly on the chicken and covered it. Daughter didn’t like the seasoning, so her meal was out.
Asked for half pound of pulled chicken. Didn’t get the full half pound or so it looks like. Pulled chicken was not very good. I ate a couple bites and decided I didn’t want anymore. Going to give the extra chicken I got to my cats, because I won’t eat it.
On a positive note their garlic bread is amazing. Mac and cheese was good tier, and sweet tea was okay. Pulled pork wasn’t bad, but Shane’s is better.
It cost us over 100$ and it definitely was not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend.
