Ordered online and received a text saying my food was ready and it was not handed to me for another 35 minutes. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce and it was spicy for no apparent reason and did not taste any garlic and had to fight through massive chunks of onion and mushroom to even get at the chicken. I appreciate him offering me a free soda for waiting but 35 minutes spent on my 1 hour lunch in a horrible interior was unforgivable this was such a letdown

Disgusting!! My sick mother who is on oxygen ordered a soup and a couple of spring rolls and the woman speaks English on the phone answers the phone denied us a dinner and a soup because it wasn’t up to her liking with money $50 or over she hung up on me hair in the food this is the second time I tried to order disgusting

I picked up my food. I believe I got a free soda that day too. One time my card was hacked and I didn’t know, I called back to tell them to forget it and they gave me my food without me paying bc I ordered so much. Told me pay them back next time. I payed back the next time I ordered. I’ve never had a problem with the lady. And love the delivery drivers. Very nice all of them.

Extremely rude and disrespectful business! The woman at the counter is extremely disrespectful and hung up the phone on me while trying to make an order for delivery. She once told me they would not deliver UNLESS I put a tip on my card beforehand… then proceeded to lie and say they don’t deliver at all. Apparently they don’t appreciate our business while operating in our neighborhood. Give your money to someone who will appreciate it NOT THEM.

Update: changed my review from a 4 to a 1. After ordering from there at least 3 times a week for the past half year or so, we decided to order from them for the super bowl since we were having some friends over. Ordered $50 or so worth of food but intentionally did it early, around like 2-3pm, so there would be plenty of time for delivery and it wouldn’t be during a rush. The food arrived as we were getting the house ready. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce and we ordered a large sweet and sour chicken, so that’s an obvious issue. I called back and the rude lady at the front proceeded to tell me how she didn’t have time to send the delivery driver back to me because I lived too far away and that I needed to come get it myself. I nicely explained that I couldn’t leave because we had guests arriving, which is why I got the food delivered. She made such a big deal about how far away I am (I live ten minutes away and the whole reason I learned about them is they left a delivery menu on my front door) and I kept nicely explaining that I couldn’t leave and it wasn’t my fault the driver forgot the sauce (which is what she had told me) Eventually after being yelled at for like 7 minutes, I just wanted my money back. I was confused and aggravated after she continued to talk loudly about how SHE was upset because she “did me a favor” delivering to me all the time because we are too far away. I told her I would come bring back all the food, get a refund and wouldn’t ask her to deliver to me again since it’s such a problem. She then told me the delivery driver was already on his way (although she had said he wouldn’t be able to get to me for an hour just five minutes earlier). Needless to say, I will not be ordering from here again because I am afraid they will spit in my food if I even ask for delivery again, and because I don’t feel safe picking up food at their location. The food is average, but I’d rather spend my money at a cleaner place, in a safer, nicer location, where I am appreciated as a regular customer and where I don’t get yelled at. Below is my original post, but I promise their food isn’t good enough to deal with the rude woman who works at the front or to have to drive to that disgusting, sketch af parking lot where I legitimately am afraid of being stabbed or offered drugs at best. Again, below is my original review:
I genuinely like their food. It’s consistent and good. I have a very sensitive stomach and have never gotten sick from their food. Definitely opt for delivery – it comes very quickly, it’s always still steaming hot and the drivers are nice. I understand the complaints about the customer service, but I think people are going overboard. The woman who answers the phone isn’t the most friendly and can be short, but I order delivery from there at least once a week and they ALWAYS get my order right, even though I’m picky and ask for things specially cooked or with certain ingredients removed. Again, I do recommend getting delivery as the “shopping center” it’s located in is not a very desirable location, to put it kindly. Aside from that, the inside of the place doesn’t look dirty, albeit not new, and you can see straight back into thekitchen which looks sanitary as well. I have picked up from there several times and while I much prefer delivery, it’s not the end of the world. There are much worse places to be people, relax and enjoy some Happy Garden!

I am so fed up with whoever the woman is answering the calls. If you can’t be polite towards a customer then stop working in customer service cause this betchhh has no manners. She doesn’t even say “goodbye have a nice day” so when she hangs up I have to call again because theres still things left unsaid. Anyways I will no longer be ordering from the place. I searched up the next closest Chinese place and they had a respectful person answering their calls. The food may be good but I will not tolerate her attitude, do not order from this place.

Dont order here!!! I ordered there at least once a week. This time i ordered and asked to use my card over the phone. She took my card number and asked how much tip i wanted to put on the card. I say “no tip” ( because i had cash at home obviously). She says “well if you dont tip we dont bring food!” I was blown away at the rudeness because tipping is ALWAYS a courtesy NOT a requirement! I say “are you kidding me? You know how much money ive spent at here, dont i always tip?!”. This rude woman says “yes but this is a business and we need money” and hung up the phone. Unbelievable, go elsewhere!

Great Food! & deliver with only a $10.00 minimum.. They accept Credit/Debit cards. and you can include tip also.. I Never been disappointed in the food.. Many places will only deliver with a $15.00 Min. and charge $1.50 delivery fee, “Happy Garden” delivers with only a $10.00 Min. and only a $1.00 delivery charge… And the food is Very, Very Good!! & the Girl that answered the phone to take the order, is always Very, Very Nice! The delivery driver is also & Always Very, Very, nice and polite as well!! Just a GR8 experience all around!! My favorites from them are “Sesame Shrimp* *Subgum Wonton* And all of their Egg Foo Young. I Have tried many things on their menu, & have ~Never~ been disappointed in the food.. It was always Awesome!! “Thank You” *** Happy Garden*** I Live in Middle Island, They are in Coram… And i ~Still, & Will! Choose them as my # 1 : )
