On a quick stop over here, we found Happy Garden, and we are so glad we did. The service from staff was excellent and it felt very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Very quaint little restaurant. The food was delicious! We had lemon chicken, beef and brocoli, and veggie noodles. It was to die for and the portion size was enough for lunch the next day! If you get the opportunity do pay them a visit!

Comforting food in Chester CA! We stayed in Chester while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park, and ate dinner at Happy Garden both nights! It looks like a family run place and the food and service was good. They made Kung pao vegetables even though it wasn’t on their menu and it was delicious!

Living in the Bay area, we are used to good Chinese foods, including those in Chinatown. We are happily surprised to find the dishes in remote Chester delicious, each with ample quantity, and a large selections on the menu. Service was quick and pleasant. What a nice find!!

This little town is so awesome I mean they have a thrift store there that sells great shoes Nikes dress up shoes I mean nice looking shoes for 15 and up you know I got me a nice pair of tennis shoes for $15 when we went camping is right up by Quincy. I hope you have a nice day and I hope you check this little town out it’s awesome the people are so sweet.
