Come here every time we r at the park. My dad loves the cheese on a stick and I absolutely love the fresh cut fries! If they make em crispy enough they r probably the best fries money can buy! We will definitely be coming back this years trip to cedar point !! Btw if u see the ketchup on my fries in the picture it’s because a cop walked up and cuffed me and told me I had to eat ketchup with my fries . I never eat fries with ketchup but in order to avoid a fine I did that time. I was GUTTED FAM!

Was good years ago. Not anymore. Garbage food, garbage managers. Look this place is called the happy Friar. It literally needs to be hot and crispy fries every single time. Not heat lamp garbage soggy fries. And if we ask to have them remade don’t walk around the back, roll your eyes and hand me back the exact same garbage.

Was at cedar point this past Friday. I apparently was standing at the wrong window for service because 7 employees ignored me. A boy was busy kissing a girl, another boy was picking fries out of the basket that was being served to the public. They all saw me but didn’t say I was at the wrong window. I did tell the young man to STOP putting his fingers in other people’s fries. Gross won’t go back

Service is much quicker now with the rebuild this year. Didn’t see any salt readily available for the fries, so that could be improved.

The pricing wasn’t to bad could get 7 min corn dogs with fries for like $11 or $13 sorry cant remember the exact amount. But when my son got his food he couldn’t eat all of the corn dogs because some were so burnt they were very hard. The fries were OK though. I know they are usually very busy and have alot of food going out but that was just our experience..

I don’t know if it was just because it’s the end of the season or what, but the staff running the stand were not the A team. Service was extra slow, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing at all, and multiple items in our orders were incorrect. We got charged multiple times for items we didn’t get. My friend got charged almost $5 for fountain water! That is highway robbery and honestly so unethical. The price for the food was high even for amusement park standards. The fries were good but not nearly good enough to justify the inconvenience, frustration, time, and cost we paid. I will definitely never get my park food from here again.

Do you like thick cut french fries? Do you like deep fried cheese? What about deliciously crunchy mini corn dogs? If you said no, you should probably go someplace else!
But if the thought of delicious, artery clogging deep fried goodness has your mouth watering then this is the place for you!
My go to meal here is the mini corn dogs and fries. My only constructive criticism for the happy friar would be to cook the fries a bit more. As is they are tasty, but would be even better with a slight crunch.

Fantastic quality French fries!! They’re a little pricey but worth every penny. I have never had a bad batch. The customer service has slipped in recent years but it’s still worth the wait.
