Love this bar! Im there at least 4 nights per week. The staff is amazing, and the food is great! The pot stickers and General Tso’s chicken are the best in town by far. Free pool and ping pong every night, along with several TVs for sporting events. Karaoke on Wed and Sun nights with KJ Ashmoney is always a blast as well! Best dive bar ever

Couldn’t possibly understand why the average review is so low for this place. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable and the portions and pours are generous. The staff was lovely and vegetarian dietary restrictions were easily accommodated. There are both comfortable booths and plenty of bartop for sitting, I stayed for a while and worked on some last minute schoolwork on my laptop while eating delicious food and sipping a drink. 0 complaints, give it a try!

I can’t speak for the service and eating-in experience, as I ordered takeout. I’m sure you can have a good time here if you order the right thing and have a seat at the bar. It’s definitely a dive and not for everyone, but it serves a purpose.
Unfortunately, I happened to receive the worst General Tso’s chicken I have ever had the displeasure of eating. The sauce tasted like straight up soy sauce mixed with ketchup, and the meat was an unpleasant texture and felt like eating reheated chicken nuggets. I don’t think any amount of alcohol could have made eating that a pleasant experience.
I would not order takeout from Happy Fortune again. Although the portion of what you are getting is rather generous, the quality is so low that you should just go somewhere else for this.

Fun local spot to eat, drink, play pool, pin ball, ping pong, or SING KARAOKE!!! Fun crowd and friendly staff! Karaoke every Wednesday and Friday night. Bar open till 2:30am.

With covid everything is served in to go cartons. Mixed review here. The place is a great dive bar: Large tv to watch, pool, juke box, video poker, plenty of space. The food menu gives it a mixed review: if you pick the right entree its a great value. If not its way over priced. Noticeable from driving off barbur blvd. Staff is adequate.

This is the lousiest Chinese food in the city, and tied for worst in Portland Metro. “American Chinese” doesn’t even help — it’s just *horrible*.
Garlic chicken was pasty & near flavorless, with sad, wilted/soggy vegetables. And cucumbers! Lots of mushy tasteless cucumbers. The dish was edible, but just barely.
Was hoping for better with Singapore-style noodles, but literally no joy. Also very pasty consistency, with bad-flavored bbq pork being the only real taste (no curry detectable). And lots of the same mushy tasteless cucumbers. Plus, scrambled egg just thrown on top, which in our case was handy because we ordered NO EGG so it was easy to remove. Neither of us could handle more than a few bites before tossing the rest out.
The little box of white rice was unobjectionable and therefore the high point of the meal.
I can’t possibly imagine how they stay in business when there is SO MUCH Chinese food, from adequate to exquisite in our city. This place just sucked, and I am otherwise never this harsh.

Well, I wanted Chinese take out and I don’t have a go to spot. I ordered online and picked up on my way home. The crab puffs were good but there were spices that I wasn’t expecting (to cover up that there seemingly wasn’t any crab?). The sesame chicken was spicy (which they had noted). The box was stuffed full. I wish I could review the fried rice but I received white rice, despite the fact I had paid for the upgrade. I likely won’t eat here again but if I did I would be sure to check my order before leaving.
