I went to Happy Endings to get some takeout. The fish and chips were excellent! The bar atmosphere while I waited was one of the loudest of my life. People were having fun, though, so it’s probably a good place to have a drink, though very small.

Very racist.. they refused to take my card because my name.was not on it..fine.. had to utilize the atm machine to pay my bill which i did left a tip and was told by a female bar tender that “my money is not needed here” i guess because my tip “wasnt enough” but if you want to dictate how much someone should tip maybe include gratuitity in the check. Needless to say i haven’t been back since. The female bartenders are rude and act as if they want nothing to do with you. Maybe because I’m a person of color but they paid more attention to everyone else and ignored us to the point we had to keep reaching out just to be serve. If you’re a person of color just be careful these people here choose who they’re nice to. And this is not my first experience here this was just the icing on the cake!

The bartenders aren’t attentive to anyone unless their seated at the bar area. Even on a night that wasn’t busy being completely disregarded. And honestly, if it wasn’t a very fun environment as a woman of color. It’s more of a pub geared towards locals and the drinks aren’t good so. They also didn’t have the heat on in mid February when I visited so everyone was freezing. I’ve been twice now and it wasn’t worth the money at all. If you want a good time just drive North towards DC or maybe South in RVA.

I was driving from Connecticut to Florida and stopped in Fredericksburg for the night. This was the closest bar that served food so I pop in around 9:30-10pm on a Monday night and to my surprise it was full.
